Re: Tigers roar on ticketing front

9154 Members,i wonder if that is Ticketed Members only or the Grand total.I think it is Ticketed Members only as when i spoke to some one at the club last week they said the Memberships had just past 10000 Members. The 9,145 figure was a reference to last year's total. They're apparently now 3,000 ...

Re: Wests Tigers team for Eels Trial

i find it a bit odd that he only named an 18 man squad. other coaches have named up to 30 players for their trials. im sure more than 18 players will play eg players backing up from the earlier games, but itd be nice to know exactly which of those players will get a run. Definitely have players bac...

Re: Cowboys deny Lui NRL recruitment

Its interesting. NRL.com did an article called looking to 2012 for our club this morning - ZERO mention of Robert Lui on it - in fact, when they named our top squad, they named MILLER as our halfback for next year. Hmm.... Zero mention of Robert Lui? From the article: The rookie/young gun: Jacob Mi...

Re: Mitch Brown

Moltz is a cut above Brown imo!! Brown has never played as poorly at fullback as Moltzen did for 90 per cent of last season. Has Brown ever had to come back in first grade from a total knee reconstruction? In my opinion, Brown's best at fullback hasn't been as good as Moltzen's best at fullback. I ...

If Lui didn't alledgedly muck up, Moltzen would already have his Dragons socks in the bottom drawer.
That is simply untrue.
It's really hard to see what the alternative explanation is?

Re: Mitch Brown

I think Demon's point was that Utai was picked at centre late 2011 ahead if Brown. This suggests Sheens perhaps does not rate Brown highly Posted using RoarFEED Or perhaps he just saw Brown as having more utility value on the bench? I dont think there is any real chance that Utai will be considered...

I'd think Tonga's performances for Queensland would warrant his consideration, and that's no disrespect to Ayshford.

Re: Junior Kangaroos

Congratulations to Jacob Miller and Matt Groat for being selected in the Junior Kangaroos. Well done. I think Miller might now be considered to be capable of playing first grade next year. We all know that Groat certainly is. I certainly think there's reasons for Miller to be considered ready to pl...

Re: BACKROWERS IN 2012

Will we be short in the backrow next year, this is how i see it. Front row- galloway, woods, groat and bell backrow- blair, ellis, heigo, with fulton and bmm on the bench. Can anyone see any other backrowers that sheens would use if we get injuries, would have liked to have kept flannagan after the...

Re: Robert Lui charged with assaulting girlfriend

Shocking news. Wonder what the outcome will be? Have to wait & see.... Mrs. Lui should file for divorce maybe, lol. Then we wouldn't have these situations? Lui is good but it seems he can't handle himself @ all, twice is two times too many. You'd think he'd have a bit more respect for the mother of...

Re: Giant Tigers cubs ready to roar off bench to cap impress

After that inaugural year, it seems like the Tigers have always struggled with size and aggression in the forward pack. And it seems like every year there's a new promising young forward ready to burst into first grade and give the Tigers forward pack that extra bit of size and impact. But then they...

Is expect a crowd of between 24 and 28k Will not go higher than 30 Posted using RoarFEED Would be disappointed if that's all that show up, given that the corresponding match at the same venue in 2005 drew over 36,000. And that was also against an out of town team (Brisbane). Would hate to think we'...

In 2005 the Tigers played the Broncos in the semi-final at the SFS.

36,563 attended the match.

I hope we'd get at least that big a crowd for this game.

technically it is still fair - I don't mind the Macintyre system for things like this. this week we are playing a losing team below us - Warriors at our home venue - retaining home feild advantage week after we play a winning team who finished above us - Melbourne - at their home venue retaining th...
