It is now when Tim Sheens needs to stand up and be counted

Balmain Bug is right. Sheens continually picks average players and then compounds this by putting them in the wrong positions. Then we all scratch our heads wonder why we don't make the finals every year. The 1,6,7 & 9 are most important. But equally, other players who are not performing need...

    Ordinary game but gutsy win

Yeah but it's these kind of wins that will get us into the 8\. We don't need to win flash or win big. As long as we win.

    We need a goalkicker

This post is not about having a go at Marshall. Its a simple fact that top teams have top goalkickers. If you look at 2005 when we won the GF, Hodgson was kicking well. An 80% goalkicker will also win you 2-3 games just with his kicking. Remember, we have missed the 8 by 2-3 games every year...

Beau finally gets a run at FB

Ryan was OK. Nothing spectacular and not really tested tonight by the sleepy eels. He's a bit casual in getting to the ball sometimes too. But a world of difference better than Molzten. Let's see how he goes - but again, Sheens is playing a winger @ fullback. We have about 17,000 junior...

    We need a goalkicker

Nah not having a go at him - he is priceless But he can't do everything There is a world of difference between a 65% kicker and a 80% kicker. For example, tonight we would have been up 25-12 rather than 19-12\. I think in the first round he got 3/6 and then 4/6 last week. Tonight he got what...

    We need a goalkicker

How many games is Marshall going to cost us with his kicking? Can anyone else kick?

    Our defensive coach

We now have THREE first grade coaches on roster - Sheens, Simmons and Folkes The only thing they have in common is that they won wooden spoons at their respective clubs before coming to us.

    Our defensive coach

    We have a defensive coach?

    Jason Shirnack

Definitely. And Gibbs will come back with his powering 5m runs, along with Fulton getting smashed on and off the ball.

    Today proved one thing

You are absolutely correct - it's the same old story. But it's easily fixed by doing three simple things #1 - Play a fullback at fullback & a halfback at halfback Is Molzten in the same league as Brett Hodgson? Can you see him ever developing into the same class as Hodgson? He doesnt chime...

    Your team for Round 3

Why do people keep putting Fulton in the second row? He is so small he gets *smashed*. I;d love to know if there are lighter forwards in the NRL than him….

    Andrew Fafita

Fafita was fantastic - finally a big bulky forward who can hit the line at speed, break through tackles and cause havoc in the defense. No doubt SuperCoach will have him playing reserves for the next 18 months before selling him to N Qld.
