It was exciting. and edge of the seat, for sure. Quality wise, not so much. Go back and watch the 2015 GF or pretty much any Bronco-Cowboy game from that 2 year period. Quality wise, some of the best games of the last 20 years.

I feel for him. Last thing he needed in one of the biggest weeks of his life was for the guy who runs the game come out and announce they want to make him the face of the game cos he looks like Justin Bieber. Almost shameful to put that kind of pressure on him leading into a grand final.

Imagine winning the CCM and losing. Ask DCE and Wighton how that feels. And even further back to the early 90’s. Bradley Clyde and Brad Mackay.

He’s lead his team to 3 consecutive premierships and he’s only 25. But ok.

That’s just because people get carried away. An exciting game doesn’t always mean the standard the great. It usually isn’t.

Not saying all the attention he had during the week went to his head, but apart from one or two moments, the kid was out of sorts all night and was not himself. It’s a learning curve though.

It will be a while till they decline. For the simple fact they have developed a system and culture that is far above anything else in the comp, that they blood new kids to replace anyone that leaves and they don‘t miss a beat. The same way it’s always been with the Storm, only about 10 levels...
