If you want to know all about fishing Nambucca, follow a bloke named Didio. Has plenty of videos from blackfish, flathead, bream, whiting to mudcrabs reef and surface fish. He is a local and what he doesn't know about fishing Nambucca isn't worth knowing.

Still have a good run of blackfish here at Caloundra over the winter months. Love watching the old blokes fishing for them using all the old gear. They are still pretty good at getting a feed. Weed pretty scarce up here so they use cabbage they get off the ocean rocks.

Have used bread on Drummer down the nsw south coast. Burley up with bread and mould it onto the hook. No sinker, just let it float around in the wash and hang on.

When I was a young bloke we would have two weeks in May fishing the breakwall at Urunga, just south of Coffs Harbour. Did this for years. Fished the run in and run out tides for blackfish and bream. Two hook rig under a float with long rods and centrepin fly reels. Burleyed with sand, green weed...

Plenty of the pubs and clubs have flathead tails on the menu but it is frozen battered crap that tastes nothing like flathead. Give me a fresh flathead on the bone anyday. Any whole fish for that matter always tastes better than a fillet.

I'm at the Sunny Coast and fish the Pumistone Passage. Pretty much only use lures these days. Been getting some great flathead at the moment. Also love casting small poppers for whiting on the sand flats. Mate took me outside last week after Sandys. Put down 8 pots off Bribie Island and bagged...

    Charlie Staines #262

I would just like to see some stability in the outside backs like BrissyTiger said. Staines and Naden in the centres and looks like Noffa( boot him ) and Ken on the wings. Although have my doubts that either wing could keep up with their inside man but at least build up some workable combinations.

    Luke Brooks #167

Brooks and Noffa last of the old brigade. Exit stage left for both of them. Need a culture change. No ten year projects like Brooks or sooks like Noffa. Perform and embrace the club or asta lavista baby.

    Your team for the Dragons

Surely we could get a couple of players on loan from storm, roosters and panthers. Munster and the cheese look like they enjoy a laugh. Teddy at the back flashing those dazzling teeth. Chuck in a couple of Panther players to show us how to do a try celebration. Get it done Tigers.

So, if we keep lending out our players to teams that are assured of making the playoffs. Does that essentially mean we have finally cracked the 8.😁

    Wests Tigers Coaches

As much as I liked Madge for his passion and his rep of being a hard arse on the training field, I can't for the life of me think of one player or area of our play that improved under his watch. Attack boring and predictable, no sting in defence, kicking game abysmal, no urgency in the play the...

This brought back memories. The brother-in-law had fallen on hard times and lived with us for around six months and he really liked a choof. By the time he left, the garden hose was only about 6 foot long.😂
