I was watching the game on Nine. Gould kept calling for the ball to go to Marsters. But whenever we looked like going right, Canterbury's defence was already up in our faces, so we changed our plan.

We needed more intensity across the park. We just seemed to go through the motions. Then, when things get tight, an error like Momirovski's missed conversion can make all the difference.

I'd be interested in seeing the stats on line breaks this year compared to other years or other teams. We seem to make so few in many of our games. We just aren't asking enough questions of the defence.

I don't have my model in front of me, but from memory this is about our 6th best season as of Round 20. Of the 3 seasons we made the finals, we were well entrenched in the top 8 by this stage. So there have been at least a couple other seasons where we were in the hunt but fell over.

FYI, if we had only won by 1 point, we would have been on 42%. If we had lost by 1 point, we would have been on 18%.

Wow! The curve turned the right way, seriously! A massive jump, thanks to our win and most of the other results also falling our way. We now find ourselves at 46%. Where will it go from here???  Key numbers after 20...

Nice win last night. However, our fate relies so heavily on other results. We could be anywhere from 30% to 50% depending on how the rest of the round pans out.
