Personally I'd be putting my money into 1,6,7,9 instead of centres. These guys touch the ball a lot more and create the opportunities for centres to finish. Not saying centres are unimportant, but I'd always take a gun half who can create a gap for an average centre than the other way around.

I'm the odd one out here, but centres don't win you comps. There's a reason why it's the lowest paid position on an NRL roster.

Admittedly I know zilch about Fulton, but for management to bring in their own man to replace a key staffer of Tim Sheens is a huge red flag.

Talau is obviously playing poorly but as is often the case, we don't have anyone better. Nearly 50 first grade games is worth something.

If I had to pick a second team, I'd be happy to see any of the western Sydney sides do well (Bulldogs, Eels, Penrith).

For mine, I'd like to see start seeing some good combinations. The last few weeks we've looked like a bunch of guys who aren't yet used to playing together. A win would be nice, but realistically going from 4 wins and the wooden spoon in 2022 to a top 8 team in 2023 is a massive ask.
