He should stay at Storm for less money as playing with better players prolongs your career. Doubt he would come to our basket case team.

As a league fan they are just brilliant to watch and admire. They lose great players then replace them. Hard to see anyone except Penrith with a fit Cleary challenge them. I wish WT was half as good as the Storm. Hughes is turning into a brilliant half back and the Bromwich brothers have always...

    Completely unacceptable: ramifications

The rich get richer (the storm) The poor get the picture (WT) The bombs always hit you when you move too slow (line speed) Some want resolution I just want a bloody solution Noone seems to tell us what we want to know Just Read about it

    Chopping block

Agree with the above I have been a Madge supporter but last night he lost me Never been so disappointed as a fan of what they dished up last night. Let's credit Storm who lose 3 of the all time greats but don't skip a beat Big fan of Bellamy. Has to be one of the all time great coaches...

    Tevita Pangai Junior

Some great arguments articulated by Forum Members. IMO he is worth the risk. I feel Maguire will bring the best out of him and we need an aggressive Second Rower. It also sends a message that WT have a future top 8 roster. I would take him now in a swap for Billy Waters and Chee Kam.

I have mentioned previously that 2021 is not our year but 2022/2023 are the years we should bear fruit as long as Maguire bloods some players like Simpkins/Simpkin/Amone/AJ/Madden/Cini with a view to next year. Hastings and Naden fill weak spots in roster. Packer/BJ/Mbye/Brooks free up funds for...

    Your team v Souffs

Having thought of the bigger picture long term why expose Madden and others against one of the comps heavy weights? Didn't BMM and Groat careers suffer as they were bought in before they were ready? Not about rewarding players but I would to roll with the same 17 as last week to see if each of...

WT Sliding doors moments/ Turning points

100% agree and winning the 2005 Grand final was the same as our forced marriage in 2000 that having a baby would bring us closer together but we were only hiding up the cracks which have got bigger each year. Until Management is overhauled this crap will continue irrespective of the coach and...

    SMH: Maguire not the problem

I like Brooks but watching our great game since 1977 he is not a half back. I think for Brooks future in the game he should go to Cowboys as a running 5/8. Payton knows him and he needs to get away from Sydney. I would try Madden now and see what he has to offer. Simpkin, Simpkins, Seyfarth...

    Luke Brooks

Sorry Brooks needs to go. Ii don't care if we play Madden, Mbye, AD at 7. This nightmare needs to end now.m

Probably wasn't an option. Let's go after Naden as he will not make their current team.

If they can stay injury free Penrith will win the comp. Class above every other team. Their fitness is amazing.Momers is a fine player. No star but does what is required of him.

    RIP Tommy Raudonikis

I can just imagine Tommy and Dallas Donnelly sitting upstairs with a few beers and a smoke laughing at today's so called overprice NRL stars and saying they would have not lasted in our golden era and known what real courage and toughness looks like. RIP LEGEND.

    RIP Tommy Raudonikis

The word legend is used incorrectly these days but Tommy was a true legend. My hero following Western Suburbs in the 1970s and early 1980s. Cried when he signed with Newtown. Wish our current team had Tommy's toughness. Cancer claims another great. RIP TRUE LEGEND AND NRL ICON.

    > We seem to be fine in the forwards and still have Blore to come back and development of T Simpkins and J Simpkin. Also second rower on Dev contract is coming on well. Really need a half back and winger then we are top 8 contenders.
