Missed tackle stats can be misleading in that the more you put yourself in a position to make the tackle the more likely the chances are of missing a tackle as opposed to someone who is passive in defense because they don’t put themselves in a position to make the tackle.

I think the medical experts may have said 4 to 5 months which makes it sometime in January if that is correct. I think even though Laurie was back on the park for the trials it has taken a while for him to get back his confidence and form.

Given Hastings's injury, it might be unwise to move Brooks on before establishing for certain how long he will be out for. If this is the path Sheens and his coaches take they will need to find a suitable half-back as a replacement as I don't think Madden has put a case forward yet to take on...
