Will do Ben good to be an assistant at Penrith in a good system and also to round out his experience working in different environments. More likely to actually fast track his development to a head coach. Who knows, could pick him back up as the head coach in 5 or so years.

Amongst the challenge of finding and signing decent halves for the next few years we are about 2 years away from needing to replace some of our decent forward pack. Need plans in place for say 2025-2027 otherwise we will be back to having no platform for halves and backs to take advantage of.

With the players cleared off the books and potential salary cap space in 2023 could we perhaps pay out Douehi’s 2024 contract this year and buy out his contract? Would that free up both cap space and a top 30 position for recruitment in 2024? Sorry if this had already been covered in the thread.
