    Chris Lawrence

Resting Lawrence this week is a smart move. No need to risk him even if he was ready. Utai had a good game in the centres last week and can fll in again until the finals. Must say it's nice to have solid back up players.

    Blair for 5

Blair's ban is a great result for Tigers chanced this year, but I personally feel sorry for the bloke. He hasn't missed a game all year and every player dreams of making it to the Grand Final. The coverage tonight showed he was shattered with the verdict, although I suppose it will make him just...

    Lote Tuqiri

To be fair Lote has only played a hand full of games this year so his skills would be rusty, lacking in match fitness and low in confidence. I would have imagined he was also probably tentative going into tackles either in attack or defence knowing that he keeps getting injured during his return...

    Young forwards

BMM made some good runs and took the line on really well. He actually looked dangerous and you can see he clearly has potential. He can run very good lines at pace for a big guy and will be awesome once he improves his fitness. He was noticeably tired tonight and it showed when he was slow to...

    Scotty Prince unwanted at Titans!

Prince's best years are definitely behind him. He has been low on confidence for a while now. He had his ups and downs even when he was with the Tigers during his peak, but he served us well during the 2005 finals and I'd prefer to keep that positive memory.

How did you become a Wests Tigers fan?

What a fantastic thread with heaps of great posts. I started playing league for Burwood United in the late 70's which was in the Wests Junior Comp at the time. I played with Tim Brasher for 5 years who was a class above every kid in the entire comp. We were both huge Wests fans and were both...

Utais howlers will they cost us?

I agree with most of the comments that Utai makes some poor decisions occasionally and it feels like a fatal error is around the corner, but I have to say that his bull dozing runs are absolutely awesome. He hits the line with such venom that opposing teams need 3-4 players to stop him every...

    To the perfectionists

Nice to get 6 wins in a row at this end of the season. Quite a few players are showing their best form of the entire season. Nice to see Benji kicking goals from the side lines and Farah getting some field goal practice in time for finals. The set moves seem to be coming together better than 8...

    Flanagan

Flanagan definitely surprised me today. He's not a typical big forward but played with plenty of courage today. He pulled off some superb tackles when we needed it. Well done

    Fulton

Another great game. His workload is excellent, solid defender and quality hit ups. I like the way he is hitting the line and looking for opportunities to pass without pushing silly passes. One of the best on field again this week

    Will Parra budge?

Eels will fire up tomorrow. Titans beating Raiders tonight puts Eels at the bottom of the ladder. Bad enough eels are our bogey side but add the extra motivation of avoiding the dreaded wooden spoon, we can't afford to be complacent or throw as many lose passes as we did last time we played...

We can beat parra but it all starts with one man....

Might be a little late for Robbie to win Dally M this year, but he can definitely help us win the comp. He was awesome last week. especially in the first half. He was involved in everything. It was like Farah of old. He came out of the recent Kiama camp with renewed energy which was fantastic to...

    Toddy Payten

Payten has been a great warrior for us, although his best years are definitely behind him. He can be a good back up for injured players and his experience is good for the youngsters, but to be honest if you watch him lately he is slow around the rucks (probably not 100% injury free or maybe it's...

No reason tigers shouldnt win...on paper

Parra is definitely our bogey side. With the exception of being destroyed by the Bunnies who have been on fire, the eels have been extremely competitive in most of the their matches. They should of beaten Manly last week had it not been for a few simple mistakes on their goal line. Eels always...

    Bombs and Cross field kicks

We have won the last 4 games on the back of some Benji brilliance and also mostly great set moves. IMO our kicking game is not as slick as the other top sides. Definitely not complaining, but I think we had many chances to win our games by more points but the last pass either didn't stick or our...

    Beau ryan

One of his best games of the season tonight. Solid runs, broke the line, backed up in both attack and defence. He has a big heart for a small guy and lots of passion.

    Bryce Gibbs

Another great game in defence but he was also one of the leading metres gained. Inspirational stuff. Best low tackle front row tackle in the NRL. Solid as a rock!

    My heart is still racing

Unbelievable feeling. Incredble game. So proud and happy to be a Tiger Supporter. Nothing better than beating the Dragons. Their supporters are usually the most arrogant. Three losses in a row will shut them up.

    McKinnon

I'm really glad this is his last season with us. Good luck to him in England. Looking forward to having a replacement that makes less errors and knows how to run the ball back strongly.

    Gibbs

Gibbs had a great game and I feel his loss to the club is definitely in defense. Watch him closely. He doesn't miss many and he is one of the best low tackle props in the game. He wraps up even the biggest players around the legs and stops them dead in their tracks. You can't run without legs...
