Staines actually had some decent performances for us at fb a couple years ago. I'd rather slot him in at the 1 and keep Turuva on the wing. I mean we're getting smacked regardless but the To'a & Turuva combination is one of the few positives of this year.

Perhaps a little bit more, but mind you Brown is a few years younger and the 10 year deal will be significantly discounted as a proportion of the salary cap when it goes up soon. Luai might get 1.3m a year from someone else but certainly not over 10 years.

Parra lost their captain, have been without their best player (whos the 2nd or 3rd best half in the game) and were equally as bad as us last year. They're not really doing any worse than us and probably slightly better all things considered.
