Leave the kid out of the NRL this year and let him learn in reserve grade, 18 year old body wise still not fully developed to play against the big boys. Remember doesn’t matter how good you look in other grades, NRL is such a big step up.

I think the kicking game comes into it and Luai being left footed it is better that he stays on the left side. As it’s preferable that the kickers leg is nearer the sideline further away from the marker chasing from the ruck.

That probably has something to do with the centre on your side not being able to run into a hole to make a line break let alone score a try.
