Tony Sukkar? The 105kg backrower that averages about 95-100m a game in KOE?

Bula is under contract for 2-3 years isn't he? By the time he's up for renewal, I'd hope the club has a contingency in place. Wasn't the rumour we were looking at Voltano from Newcastle?

Probably Skelton. The good news is- you have players fighting to play. Skelton hasn't proven throughout his career he can stay healthy. So he's the likely one to drop out. But if anyone goes down, he's a good stand in option.

I don't think it's unrealistic to carry 3 dummy halves out of 30 players. Ideally one of those dummy halves has the ability to play elsewhere too. What you don't want is to lose Api & look around & think....now we have a problem. Until Hope proves himself, we are in that position.

I'd prefer his brother Freddy, but Joey Lussick offers the size to play a little backrow.

    Roster Breakdown: 2024-2029

I think, unless someone 'shakes free' like Mooney, or even Tyson Frizell, that Elliott just makes the most sense. It doesn't hurt to have 3-4 experienced (30+) guys in the squad, particularly when there is such a reliance on young players like Bula & Latu to guide the team.

Joey Lussick, Jayden Berrell or Cory Paix- all off contract next season, could be back-up 9's.

True. Although it could be argued that there was embellishment over how cut throat that was. I can't imagine Mario Tartak playing that card, exactly in those terms, to the club.

    Tallyn Da Silva #270

As Lestronge mentioned- Tartak has a good relationship with the Tigers. He had a great opportunity to strike a bigger deal for one of his clients & the Tigers didn't stand in his way. Swings & roundabouts....what if another Tartak client not playing regular 1st grade can secure a deal at the...

I wonder how much faith you can put in any kind of news article. Doueihi & Benji have an issue? Right. So that was why Doueihi was at the press conference after the game obviously. Training photos clearly show that AD hates being there too..

If you want an experienced coach to help develop juniors, Anthony Griffin is the guy. He's not a great head coach, but as the #2...he'd be my pick. Tallis reckons he's one of the greatest developers of young players from his time at the Broncos. And then there is the Wayne connection.
