    Jahream Bula #269

He basically 'must' have been upgraded to be playing. As you know, exceptions are granted when a club shows injuries / they can't fill the position. But that is not the case and we have Reilly and Nofa (both NRL backs) in state cup available. Staines and Laurie both can play FB. There is no...

    Jahream Bula #269

Has tons of athleticism and talent.... BUT...he is dramatically inexperienced, barely played 2 games in State Cup...AND been out injured the past month. I.e. no match fitness. And we are going to throw him in v DCE, who has possibly the best kicking game in the comp. Hell of a debut for the...

Going to market for a controlling half...

Good points. I think Dykes is their long term replacement for Moylan though. Our main shot at Trindall is we could literally double his pay. It would then be up to his manager to work it out.

    Advice from dads

My son is 12 and, without any persuasion, got into it about 18 months ago. He now watches every game. He has seen 4 wins...and never been at a game we have won. He went today and said he was worried all week we would lose by 50, so he was happy he saw a good game and we were close. He also...

    We are screwed

Warrington are undefeated and aiming to win it all. Not a chance Williams is released this season.

    We are screwed

The crazy thing is we have ZERO depth in the halves... And today in state cup was the perfect chance to play Laurie there and see how he goes. Why on earth not find out at that level? Instead, we played the 300 yo will smith there...who did nothing, and is not even eligible for the NRL team.

Going to market for a controlling half...

Yes, he did. But he extended as a back up. And they just upgraded Hynes massively.

Going to market for a controlling half...

He trained there all off season (Sheens made them train in two spots) Jake has no pass though, even at 9.

Going to market for a controlling half...

Trindall has won at every level and replaced Hynes well. 40 plus NRL games already. Calm and controlled. No spot there forever now... Honestly...if we are not after him, something is desperately wrong.

Going to market for a controlling half...

Moses was on huge money anyway. Trindall is not.

    A better performance..

Better, yes. But our attack was inept whenever it started in the opp 20...yet again. Same as Dogs game, we were better when long range and just taking chances. We need to convert and create in opp 20. It is that simple.

Going to market for a controlling half...

Griffin said (whilst a commentator) the player market never stops and you can get any position you want... We NEED a controlling 7 desperately. How to do it without tampering? Easy actually. We need to be on the phone to every manager and tell them there is 500-600 plus waiting for 2 years...

    3 2 1 against Parra

    #13 Lock

This has been THE biggest shock of Sheens return IMO...of all coaches, I expected a ball playing 13 from him. He tells everyone to pass...yet picks blokes who can't pass at 13. The key link forward. Bizarre.

OFFICIAL Pathways - KOE General Discussion

Yeah....somehow got a 2.5 year NRL deal with us. A Manly mate of mine actually texted me the day he signed with us and said "you got a dud...by far the worst player at the club and only even kept due to his brothers being here". Yet we gave him 2.5 years NRL deal... 1.5 years later he is a...

OFFICIAL Pathways - KOE General Discussion

Shocking....I think he dropped it 5 times? Really depressing game...literally not a single player who said "I want an NRL spot". We can lose first grade by 50 today and still not make any changes as no one did anything to come up.

    For anyone bagging Hastings

It is not unfair at all...the facts are that the 7 controls the game. If a pack works their butts off to cart you up the field...and the 7 ends the set the way ours does, it kills the team / energy / field position / the works. Forwards have carried it 80 in 5 plays and he kicks into legs...

    For anyone bagging Hastings

Well, it does. Their pack turned up with that attitude...and energy. But it was backed up by their 7 steering the ship, good kicks, giving them breathing time and controlling the game. Our pack have had to constantly race back for 20 m resets as our 7 kicks dead, or into legs, or passes into...

    For anyone bagging Hastings

Absolutely crazy...from us and the Knights. The Knights actually wanted Brooks...who would have been a colossal disaster in their spine, especially with their injuries. Even worse...we insisted Brooks stayed. Monumental stupidity on both teams parts... Knights ended up with Jacko, who is the...

    LIVE GAME Round 6 spoilers

That is not correct...as his teenage daughter, who is English, did not come. She is in the UK still. He said in all his media when he arrived it was hard to leave her behind. His current partner, and child, are both here and are Aussies.
