LIVE GAME Round 7 chat *spoilers*

Brooks serves up a stinker. Walters and smith are an excellent commentary team. They don't spend the whole time with random inane jokes or complaining how bad the game is. They actually seem to enjoy watching rugby league.

I hope the online stuff from players stops. It will all look pretty silly if we don't win games.

TEAM LIST Round 7 vs Parra

I was cautious against Newcastle and Parra first time round, and still feel doubtful here. Tigers usually stink it up after eventful weeks, ala spoon bowl last year. Parra have a good backline, their forwards look a little weak, particularly our former tiger second row. You'd think if we play...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I think fair enough to drop him this week ala Cleary and dropping turuva last year when he signed with us. You can say it's to give him time to get his head together and if the team struggles without him you can bring him back claiming it as the plan. If doueihi and the team go well, no reason...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

All this hype is media stuff, you don't drop him or get hysterical and punish him. I agree with moving him out of 5/8 because he's too erratic now and it's not worth sticking with it, but I'd definitely have him somewhere in the 17 and probably at centre. Players understand it's a business...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Big no to booing Galvin from me. Whatever opinion you have of his play, he puts in and he's entitled to leave if he wants to, he owes us nothing. We can boo him when he's wearing other colours. As for releasing or dropping him, why? He's a quality player on a cheap contract. Even if you put...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I don't think we should drop him, he's too good, I like the @Tucker solution of playing him at centre. It will probably simplify the game for him anyway. Doueihi into the halves until Latu returns then it's Latu time, a player who is arguably as good in potential as Galvin. Sad to see Galvin...

    Alex Seyfarth #232

With tail between my legs, I'd officially like to join the Alex seyfarth fan club. I always thought of him as an error riddled weak defender with poor decision making. But this year he's been rock solid out wide and does all the little things that allow the rest of the team to play well. He...

LIVE GAME Round 6 v Knights

I think luai is fine at 7. I don't think it's easy with a halves partner who doesn't even seem to know what he's going to do, let alone what he wants others to do. I like Galvin and his talent is obvious, but he's going through a patch where he seems scrambled.

Yes, his play is concerning. His ball hogging is too predictable. Needs to do more just early balls to the backs, let them play.

    Fonua Pole #257

Most importantly, he's been much better defensively lately.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not really much to draw from it, but in recent years players who left us have gone on to find better form at their new clubs. It felt like the same might happen this year with well credentialed experienced players leaving us in bad form. However, that form has continued at their new clubs so...

TEAM LIST Round 6 vs Knights

People on here are pretty confident. I see that Newcastle have a number of injuries but I think a win away at Newcastle would be a big achievement for our club and I don't think it will be easy. The last time we played them they ran over us and would have had quite a few tries were it not for...

    3-2-1 3, 2, 1 vs the donkeys

Interesting a lot of people have Galvin very high. What do people who rate his game think of his organisation and pass selection? His attacking kicks were very good, but I think he had a lot of bad moments and we looked choppy and messy without luai, and I don't feel that was latu's fault. Seems...

    Alex Seyfarth #232

Yeah those stats are poor. I'm a really big critic of seyfarth but I actually think he's been doing well. I don't know that he's really there for hit ups. It's not like we struggle with go forward, and that's definitely not his strength, so I think he does his part in the team, which is to...

LIVE GAME Round 5 v Broncos

I don't agree at all, but it was interesting in the press conference that Reynolds said when talking about the chip kick that they had looked at Bula during the week and were planning the chip to catch him out. Obviously they're seeing something similar to your frustrations.

LIVE GAME Round 5 v Broncos

First 30 was very impressive. Line speed and physicality was best I've seen for ages. We obviously ran out of puff before half time. Right throughout the Broncos halves looked so classy, all the little things they do well and they really singlehandedly lifted them with the 2pt field goal...

LIVE GAME Round 5 "high shot crackdown" discussion *spoilers*

Katouga doesn't look impressive to me. Inconsistent in attack and poor in defense. True that he's better than tumeth, though.

    The Election 2025

I too lament the rapid rate of migration, but what about arguments that suggest they play a vital role in skill shortages and reducing the migration number therefore has deeper economic impacts rather than just the simple suggestion that fewer people equals more available housing stock? Perhaps...

    The Election 2025

Long rant, sorry. I want to get it all in before we all get banned: I am really disappointed that both the government and opposition don't push for tax reform or spending cuts that prioritise a balanced budget. This idea of surpluses in 10 years time by both the libs last election and Labor now...
