Yes the companies that produce the jerseys also design them. But they are liasing with the club the whole time and have to have the design signed off by the club before moving forward. But as with the below bit sometimes there isn't an option, though a lot of the time there are solutions that...

Cheers, not too difficult to actually recreate, despite how the design looks. Was very surprised at hot little effort it took to throw together.

The image with Luai has him in a replica jersey as the logos are embroidered not printed. Quite possibly the same for the media shots as well.

Can confirm, I am absolutely not in the industry, nor have ever been. And yes that is very true, however companies can also be very willing to adapt their brand guidlines if the relationship with the partner is strong enough. That can be seen all over with sponsors that go past their style...

Ah ok, yeah the retails seem to be fine. Just the player ones with the issue. And yep, that is it. Poor execution in the design, even if it is just because of jersey sizing, that really should be taken into consideration. The fact that they just added the stroke around the letter shows...

Well that will take a while to go back and find them all. Luckily I have these; This is the last NRL portfolio I did on a different forum; The NRL Dynasty And the one before that; The NRL by ISC Hopefully that will suffice for now.

Might be that it is nearly midnight, but that made no sense to me as to what you were saying 😅

Ok gave the home kit sponsor the old Penrith Oak/Oak Plus logo treatment of a white stroke.

Nope, nothing to do with those industries. Just have been doing designs for fun, and reading/watching criticisms of designs for long enough to be able to notice these little things that are lazy design decisions.

😂😂😂 Fine. The larger V on mine is ever so slightly wider as to not have the text of the club logo spill out onto the main body of the jersey. Have a look at the players in the new jerseys and you will notice that they had to put a small stroke around the last letters in the word Tigers as they...

Nope. Sponsor changes were to make them look "better". This was part of the actual jersey design. It is subtle, but when I noticed it on the actual jersey I couldn't unsee it. It was something that the design team should not have gotten away with due to what a stupid thing it is, and what would...

    Jersey Talk

Yeah I did, though the main reason for that was not template (white collar on the black was too much, orange worked better). But not the change that had to be made.

    Jersey Talk

Yeah that is why I said they were not perfect. Was more of a test in if it was possible. The ideal as we all know would be the sponsor being in white on the black.

Thought I'd give the new design a little tweak to see how we could integrate the sponsor logos better (and to tweak the design slightly to fix the part of the design that should not have been allowed to pass through the approval stage. See if you can work out what part). Of course template is...

OFFICIAL Wests Tigers Unite: Call to Arms

100% agree. I may not be a massive poster on here, but as the long time members of this forum know, I have been around a long time. And this is seriously close to the pettiest and most annoying debate that has ever gone on on this forum. @BZN and @cochise you are both grown adults. Can we start...

I still can honestly not get the love for this design (nor the orange one). It is so plain and bland, and the design is often lost as it is a side panel over being fully visible being on the front of the jersey.

    New Wests Tigers Jersey

After taking a very long and frame by frame look of the video the new designs are not recreations of these jerseys, but likely inspired by them. The Black jersey has orange on the shoulders, rather than the white on the original. There are also what looks like white cuffs on the sleeves. And...

    New Wests Tigers Jersey

Who knows how long we have to wait for a new jersey design to be released, or the front of jersey sponsor. But just going to the Tigers website, scrolling to the bottom and not seeing a particular companies logo there just brings joy. Happy November 1 everyone!!!!

We are still in the 2023-24 NRL financial year. Don't expect an announcement until after November 1.
