Tim Sheens’ era still haunting Benji Marshall

Players like Wallace, Reynolds, Maloney, Godinet, Walsh etc spent a considerable time in State Cup before moving into first grade. Sheens had choices… he picked Johnny Cronk Morris... the rest is history...Sheenius... Hopefully Potts doesn't make the same mistakes... \ \ :sign:

Tigers board cools on Benji's contract talks

So everyone will be happy if the ARLC comes back to them with: - both boards gone; replaced with independent board - training & HQ moved to Liverpool/Macarthur district - club to have a bigger influence in the South West - majority of games to be played at CSS or new stadium (if ever built) …...

    Online petition to remove board

Forget about running for a place on the Wests Football club board. It's pointless and a waste of time as Wests Ashfield has a controlling influence on the football club. The Balmain Football club might be different though but you would need to run a ticket of 4-5 people to oust the current...

    Wests Tigers future guaranteed

Whatever the outcome some people will still not be happy even if the changes are in the best interest of the Wests Tigers moving forward. Both sides of the board may or may not have separate agenda's but so do many 'so called' fans. :sign:

    The end for the Weststigers

Dunno where you got that info from mate. When the Wests Tigers make a loss for any given financial year the loss needs to be funded by the Balmain Group (50%) and the Wests Group (50%). Wests Campbelltown's share works out to be 17% of the overall loss (Balmain group 50%, Ashfield 33%). I would...

    Board are next.

Sack the board? Whose going to sack them? The board are the representatives of the stakeholders, replacing them at leagues club level is near impossible.

    The end for the Weststigers

Chillax. Wests Ashfield and Wests Campbelltown won't let the Wests Tigers brand be dissolved. It's all that matters to them. Ashfield has made no secret that it wants to own it. The Magpies football club view is irrelevant. Wests Tigers ain't going anywhere. :sign:

Council to bid for a 30000 seat Campbelltown Stadium

Article doesn't even mention the Wests Tigers and it's got the bugs amongst the forum jumping. :blah Like someone else said a new Western Sydney stadium will cater for more than one team and sport. :sign:

Football as usual despite leagues club's woes, says Balmain

Yes, we are the Wests Tigers now. Who will balance the books (and pay Sheens out) though without Leagues club grants? Currently the club doesn't have the membership numbers to cover for poor financial years.

Club acts to attract fans to big game

Interesting that on twitter Grant Mayer said that they had good ticket sales but over 2,000 paid members didn't show up… Anyways, it all comes back to the fact that most so called Wests Tigers supporters are fickle bandwagoners. :sign:

    Design our 2014 Home Jersey

All the designs so far in this thread are great and I would be happy with the club to adopt these designs. I like the idea of a traditional looking design. The simple designs look more classy imo. If I had the ability to design it - It would be similar design to the 2013 Wests heritage jersey...

More talk on Campbelltown's first crowd of 2013

There are two reasons for the poor crowd: 1) Cost per ticket. Leichhardt's success has mean't that prices have increased at the traditional grounds. The club is trying to make every cent it can from the big crowds at Leichhardt. Over the past 4 years price of a GA ticket has increased from $18...
