Agreed. They seem to be both high touch dominant halves. Feel at times he looks a little lost as to when to play his natural game or let Galvin run the show. I think we will be better in the second half of the season.

I love his efforts and enthusiasm - his minutes are just insane. I still think he could have more impact with less minutes. Be good to see Benji just give me 10 minutes either side of half time. He will be in the conversation for Origin but I don’t see him as bench prop.

I thought Galvin was very (mostly) rocks and (very few) diamonds today in Reggie’s. Not sure rushing him back is the way forward - it looks desperate. If your look at form out of that game, Mason was ok from fullback but it is very slim pickings.

Galvin is engaged and trying but doesn’t look a class above this level. A bit like NRL performances - some good and not so good options .

Galvin’s press statement specifically referenced being a halve. Perhaps that is the issue. WT seem as a long term 13 as do other clubs. He will want to go to a club with guarantees he will play in the halves. Eels and Manly have spaces for that.

So true Paws - it’s great to see a tight knit bunch. You hear so often that the “coach has lost the dressing room” . I think this coach has assembled the team he wants and the fact that they are both playing for him and backing him speaks volumes for our future success.

Galvin has too much hype about him in relation to what he delivers. It’s a classic Moses technique. I think Latu may have a higher ceiling as he is more a threat with ball in hand and doesn’t seem to make rash decisions and plays very direct. He potentially is a better fit with Jerome as well...

Would be interesting to see May play slightly less minutes - just a little concerned with his workloads (he is playing awesome btw). This could provide Sione with more minutes
