Apparently Richo's going to talk to Galvin's parents about this request for release. I think it's a safe bet he'd have conferred with Benji before he issued his statement rejecting it out of hand. I think he's staying for sure.

Love to see him make a successful comeback. At his best he's a very good player and can cover a few key positions-fb, centre and even 6. Be great if he was back this week against Titans but pretty sure Benji said at his last presser that he'd be bought back through KO Cup over the next few weeks.

Richo will right the ship but it will take time. At present, we have a weak roster largely put together by the previous administration full of reserve graders, a few promising juniors like Galvin and the Fainu boys, some veterans whose best days are well behind them, and one or two quality...

Richo does not strike me as a guy who is prepared to tolerate players, coaches or any others who can't perform at an acceptable...

I think he'll want to stick around. He's playing first grade every week and knows he will be outside a quality 7 in Luai next year.

Read in an article by some media vermin that Richo's letter somehow amounted to "pleading" for fans to remain supportive etc etc. Absolute garbage.

The sides appear fairly evenly matched without Ponga except for the centres where we have Olam and Toa and they have Best and Gagai. Toa doesn't seem to be in the same class as the other three centres and Gagai in particular always seems to go really well whenever they play us. That aside, hope...
