It’s been warm enough to sweat, that’s for sure.
I’m sure when the time is right they will get kms in the legs. Benji has already been quoted as saying that all players were expected to return in better condition, so it’s not as though they aren’t aware of it.
I think a large part of our...
The bulk of the NRL squad isn’t even training yet, and Madge hasn’t coached a team to finals in any of his last 6 seasons as an NRL coach. There’s more to it than just flogging them till they spew every day.
I did a tour of the Panthers COE earlier this year. Usually Dylan Edward’s leads all their endurance based training but they were saying they had a young bloke in SG ball that was now leading.
I don’t think Galvin being the fittest is a problem, its just making sure that individually they are...
Rudolph was playing 45-50 minutes in the back end of the year, not really what I’d call low minutes for a prop especially one in a strong pack. Without checking I’d say 50 minutes would be above average for props.
I’d definitely rather NAS as a player, but I’m not sure he’s worth close to...
No way we move Klemmer on. We are already desperately short on props. Even if we manage to Sign 1 we still need Klemmer, unless we sign 2 and there just aren’t 2 better props available.
I wouldn’t assume that we released him. Just remember it was tweedle Dee and tweedle dum in charge when he allegedly signed a 5 year deal. He probably had all sorts of get outs.
Im not sure. But he is in the top 17 for a side that finished in the top 4. I’m not sure if living up to the incredibly high standards at our club will be too much for him, but at the very least his form at this time of September shouldn’t be a concern…
Our forward pack is definitely a problem, but with that back 5 the job of the forwards changes significantly. You can probably afford to be a little lighter as long as they are tight defensively.
To’a is a better player, but he is probably on 3 times the salary too. It’s unlikely either will be starting next year, so I’d be happy to let both move on.
They are leading constructors yes, and I think they’ll win it, but I’m talking drivers championship. Things can change over the winter break but if they still have a car capable next year I think he beats Norris. He may still beat his this year yet.
Another brilliant overtake against a very strong driver. You can just see him getting better race by race. If McLaren can keep going the way they are with the car he will be right in the championship fight next year.
I have to be honest and say I haven’t watched Hunt that closely, but there is no point comparing him to Stef. Stef is gone. We should be comparing him to the players that we have for next year. The question is does he make next years squad stronger?
Well if you’re trying to make the point that they are doing it for the money you could have used different examples. All 4 of those players are among their clubs best, Crichton, Burton and Kikau have taken the dogs to top 4 contenders. Weird way to make a point.
I’m sure money is a big factor...
Stef has been getting big money, but hasn’t won anything. To’o has 3 premiership rings but hasn’t got the big money. Everyone has their own priorities.
