I know this is left field, but could Brooks be a centre? His attributes are his speed, his defence and his commitment. All of these are required as a centre. His deficiencies at the moment are his kicking game, his ability to make correct decisions at critical moments and his general playmaking...

I have been a fan of Brooks, but last night he cost us the game big time. I agree the team is trying and the defence is not too bad. But effort will not get the chockies if your key playmakers cannot get you across the line.

Douihie is not a five eight. He never has been. He is not a natural ball player with a predictable clunky left to right pass.

I think the way we played against the big Raiders pack is how we should go for Round 1 against a big Titans pack. Lots of second phase play, making the big forwards do extra work in defence worked a treat. if we do this again, i am confident we will get the chockies.
