That’s my theory. They are the barometer. A new club, who didn’t attract any stars their first year. And they are in much more convenient location and they had one of the greatest coaches of all time at the helm. The Bears have a lot less going for them. They already look like being turned down...
Doubt it, The Dolphins struggled signing marquee players and they are based in South East Qld and had Bennett. The Bears are on the other side of the country. I don’t see many marquee players queuing up.
My confidence in his fitness isn’t very high. Some players just don’t have to the body. He’s still young though, so has time to overcome those issues. I’m not big on AD at 7. I know he was our best late in the season, but his future is at 13 imo. Good fill in at 7, but not a first choice.
That might be true, but I don’t think it requires the entire forum to tell him. This place has a fetish for piling on posters when they dare go against the grain on a topic.
Not sure another middle is what we need. We need a back up 9/utility that can come off the bench. That would Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon another middle forward who feels like a stop gap for a year.
Cummins officially out of the first test. Maybe I’m wrong, but if it’s taken him this long to recover, I’m not sure he’s much chance of the second test either, two weeks later. And even beyond that as well. Guess we’ll see.
Is it just me, or does the off season feel really short all of a sudden. We still have footy in some form for another couple of weeks, into mid-November. Then trials kick off in February. It’s only about 2-2 and a half months where we have no footy.
