Games are often decided by what teams do without the ball, as much as what the do with it. Tigers need to drastically improve in these areas to be consistently competitive. It doesn't seem Marshall values these aspects to drive the improvements needed.

I'm not sure why he's still playing. He's been no good to himself & the team for several weeks. I would have stood him down (no football) until this situation was/is sorted, offering his spot to someone who will give 100%

Bateman, a polarising figure whereever he's played, a desperation signing by the former administration, was never going to be a good fit for WT. Fairly or unfairly, his 'reputation' preceded him to the club's detriment. WT need folk who will try to harness & drive greater collective effort...
