    Twaly what a specimen.

LIVE GAME Round 22 v Bulldogs

I think we've found our best option for starting prop. I know Twal had 10 on his back but Terrell and Sione were dogged, no puns intended. Terrell not his best game either, but it helped to have another prop who didn't wilt after 10 minutes. If no better options 2026, I'd start with...

LIVE GAME Round 22 v Bulldogs

Not a fanbase known for their rationality. Super arrogant lately, you would think they'd remember their run of dreadful form not so long ago, with some level of humility.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I will give credit to Galvout that he wasn't petulant or sulky after the match, he stayed on field to chat to the Tigers boys and seemed a gracious loser. They had him on camera seeking out Luai for a chat. Don't get me wrong, I was hoping he'd do his ACL, but I can recognise good sportsmanship...

    Adam Doueihi #227

I don't usually do hunches, but I have a hunch Doueihi will re-sign. I reckon he's a proper Tigers boy through an through and I think he recognises the direction the team is heading, as well as the confidence shown in him by Benji. Coach started him in centres, not in reggies, then promoted him...

    Benji 2025 and Beyond

He made some key positional tweaks, the team played to the conditions and the opposition, he got most of his full compliment back and the team played with energy and passion for 80 full minutes, toppling one of the best teams in the comp. But not convinced about his coaching... I'm not saying...

    Brent Naden #256

Interesting how they get so arrogant so fast, where only a few seasons ago they were going through what we've recently been through.

Gotta give credit to Nado yesterday, he was aggressive and annoying in the wet. Took a few tough hitups but also went hard into basically every tackle... the Dogs ended up fairly reluctant to shift to their left. Kept Xerri very quiet and no surprise that we scored two long-rangers down that flank.

Not a concern for me when emotion is partnered with performance. Tigers outperformed the Bulldogs yesterday. I would love for them to be coldly clinically about it, but even the Storm or Panthers get riled up with a good win.

    Brent Naden #256

I agree with you broadly, in that I don't mind it personally, but your end comment is silly and out of touch with reality. Any player who makes a rude gesture to the crowd, in any Aussie sport, will get in trouble, because the game needs to protect their brand as they try to expand viewership...

    Brent Naden #256

I agree with you, but also the Tigers were on point with emotion and aggression yesterday - the mindset that has them flipping the crowd and throwing gestures is the same that got them the W. Winning graciously is a good ideal, but also the reality of smashing your opponent in the wet for 80...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

That would be fine if that was the consistent approach and all the fans and commentators could be on board. But that's not how it's consistently applied. We can all easily think back to the obvious case of Suaalii in Origin where Reece Walsh slipped and Suaalii levelled him. Walsh didn't slip...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I almost felt a bit sorry for Dogs (almost): not only did they have to explain why they were out-muscled and out-disciplined by one of the lower sides (Dogs had not yet lost to a team in the bottom 9 of the comp) but they had to spend half the press conference talking about Lachie Galvout and...

Nah, they have no depth and they rely far too much on aging players.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I don't really believe this take on the Eels. Since Tigers were last any good (2010), Parra have made the finals 5 times in 16 attempts (2017, 2019-2022). Their Finals record in that time is 4W 8L, including 2x straight-set loss knock outs in 2017-2020. It's clearly much better than Tigers...

TEAM LIST Round 22 vs Bulldogs

You know even if we lose, as long as someone can KO Galvin for me, that would be acceptable. I think of how big Rusty Packer, in one of his final years of doing bugger all, wiped out Whatsthe Matterson in a kickoff return. We lost but there was something to salvage.
