There’s no decision to make here the club signed Api on 550k in 2022 and it’s increased to 650k. I doubt the next contract is more than the previous. You can’t pay them both and Api is the better option at that price for the next two seasons. Whilst disappointing a kid won’t work his way into...

TDS was on good coin for a kid. We won’t sign anyone I’m assuming the full cap will be used on pre paying players that are staying. It’s disappointing we are throwing in the towel on the season at this stage but understandable.

    Who's our lock?

Bird is a warrior but his days in first grade are numbered.

    3-2-1 3 2 1 vs Manly

Good post. Even when fit we have Bula, Turuva, Skelton, Taylan May, Toa, Luai, Fainu’s x 3, KPP, Pole, Terrell May, API that are first graders under contract for next year. Twal and Seyfarth are borderline for depth. That’s 13-15 players. Good teams have 20-25 and out top line talent (Api...

The service from 9 didn’t help the forwards but they were poor.

    LIVE GAME Round 17v Manly

What is disappointing is our last few performances Raiders, Panthers, Souths and second half against Cowboys were good. I can cop losing but that was a train wreck. We had no chance.

    Benji 2025 and Beyond

Richo is not a mug. He will move on Benji next year if this continues. The reality is whoever the coach is down the track the roster has to be improved in quality and depth. Removing Benji now will create bigger issues. Outside of a few weeks this team plays hard for their coach. The job was...

Tigers have to take criticism for playing youngsters before their time. They are creating the culture of entitlement. Galvin, TDS, Lauili, Mason are just not even close to ready. The only two that look like panning out are the Fainu brothers.

    LIVE GAME Round 17v Manly

This is one of the most disturbing performances of the season albeit we are down players. We are not a chance of beating anyone without a full squad. No go forward, terrible edge defence and zero structure in attack. A shambles. Highlights the class difference between Bula, Luai and the rest...

    LIVE GAME Round 17v Manly

Luai being out and we are a rabble. Serious work in recruitment has to be done. Coach needs a look in the mirror and I’m a fan of Benji lack of any structure to allow players to come in and perform.

‘We’re putting our eggs into Api’s basket’: Benjidefends prioritising captain’s signature

Decisive move by the Tigers. You don’t let your captain and a top player go for a rookie who hasn’t earnt the 600k. Api is the better player for the next 2-3 years and Haywood is rated higher than TDS at the same age. Preferably he plays under Api until he’s ready and takes the position but he...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Dogs have been brilliant. Galvin is a project for them but I don’t get it personally. Burton and Hayward are better 5/8’s. Galvin is not a halfback.

    Benji 2025 and Beyond

Benji will be in a make or break season 2026. It’s a key offseason for the club in terms of recruitment. How we play for the rest of the season will be critical. It’s a better team and they play hard. Someone like Brad Arthur is a better coach however the damage in changing outweighs the move...

    Heath Mason #288

Mason is only 20 he looks to me a Connor Watson type player. Ideal 14 when we have the starting lineup in order. I can see him being a key player down the track just not yet.

    Tallyn Da Silva #270

Haywood is signed until 2028 that’s a long deal for a kid. TDS reportedly wants 600k is he worth the investment? Api can give you a couple of years and is currently the better player. It’s a tough one you sign TDS and Haywood leaves in 2027. Really comes down to who the club views as the...

    Tallyn Da Silva #270

Agree. It’s also about timeline. Api is a Cam Smith type hooker crafty. He can play another two years at a high level. Hayward will be next in line. He’s better at the same age by some margin. If I were the Tigers I would seek a higher level player swap KPP is already coming here and our year...

    Alex Seyfarth #232

Seyfarth is a real goer. Hard working player and a good athlete at his size. Lacks game awareness, errors and bad defensive reads on an edge. Mason and Seyfarth will become excellent bench players in short bursts. He should not be starting at second row.
