Fletcher Sharpe is a fullback, which is where he will slot in when Ponga bails on the Knights. Tremendous running threat.

It’s only one full game as a data point, but he got no where near the number of touches yesterday than he did in just about every game he played at WT. That probably just reflects that he will be slotted into the system at the Bulldogs, whereas at the Tigers he was the system.

I think it was a case of missed Horsborough but jagged May. I don’t believe it was a case of both in the frame but an either/or. Big Red is a good player, but we definitely did better with May

Katoa ain’t the future…he’s the present. One of the top bracket of halfback in the comp right now.

LIVE GAME Round 14 v Panthers

I could cop it if he speared in at the legs. But that was just a solid tackle that was simultaneous with him kicking. Not late. Not high. Not attacking the legs. WTF is Jerome supposed to do?

LIVE GAME Round 14 v Panthers

The last gasp desperation efforts by Penrith in the last 10 minutes. Not much wrong with Tigers attack this arvo.

Agree. But it was a big moment and a really bad call. No reward for the effort to get to the kicker and put pressure on. The ball hadn’t even left his boot when he hit him.

Katoa is the best young half in the comp by a mile. No contest.

Is he playing 80 mins or most of the game in Cup? Perhaps Benji thinks that’s far better development for TDS than 15-20 minutes off the bench in NRL.

Anyone on here who would consider Gagai on a 1 year deal for the right money? I know we were burnt with Olam, but Gagai still looks fit, doesn’t seem to have any chronic injuries and puts in a solid shift every week. Good defender. Still has some footwork for an older player. Can create an extra...

Hard though to carry a guy in your 17 that is gassed after 10 minutes. Not as if they have been barnstorming Spencer Leniu type minutes either.

If he’s that unfit nearly halfway through the season it reflects poorly on the clubs strength and conditioning. I know they can’t do the training for him or remove fourandtwenty pies from every servo he passes on the way to and from training, but there does need to be some adult supervision.

3 Fainus in the squad. Just like the Mortimer brothers back in the 80’s . Hope they all lift for the occasion. Family must be proud of them. Go Tigers.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Players are happy to go to Melbourne very early in their career without the guarantee of a Top 30. Wests Tigers have offered way too many of these to attract players to the club, and then have the problem of a top 30 roster with too many spots taken by players who are not yet NRL ready, or by...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

In all of the examples there is a common theme, and a consistent underlying root cause. That would be Issac Moses. He uses the club like an organ donor. That’s the lesson. I know Bula is with him as well, but if we sign any more Moses affiliated players we deserve what we get. He’s a grub. We...

Maybe. They risk being binned though if they have been called out by the ref.
