    HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

So it would be smart to generate support/ funding elsewhere so you are not dependent on club funds ..

    HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

I can take or leave Gary Barnier - also the chair of Affinity - Early Childhood Ed. Profiteering from caring for the elderly and young children doesnt sit well with me - especially when both industries are raking it in while employing some of the lowest paid workers that are consistently...

Who are the two you have heard of - that's a good start. You seemed to be concerned about one of them so good time to air it.

I think Richo was doing what needed to be done - generate more funding independently of HBG hence being less dependent on them. If HBG are all about control then financial independence threatens that. The best approach would be to continue with what Richardson and the former board started and...

    Coaching Credentials.

No depth at the club or challenge for positions. There were players that backed Maguire but there weren't enough of them - or it seems the right ones at the time. Players overpaid to underperform. Impossible for a coach to set standards at a club that operates with low standards where the...

    Coaching Credentials.

Maguire at the WTs v Maguire at Broncos. His detractors here said he would never get a coaching gig again was passed it .... HBG don't meet the criteria necessary for success until they do - we know already.

    Adam Doueihi #227

Madden is depth - don't know why people are seeing it as anything other or how that is a bad thing. He may be needed at some point and can fill a gap and he is capable of that. You are not going to attract quality halves to WTs to play in reserves.

O Pretty handy spine and great finisher and yet it all went to crap during and after.

    Jahream Bula #269

I think your frustration should be directed to the constant that makes players think twice about committing to this club. We lose the players and keep the people who scare them off. Losing quality players doesn't attract others - the complete opposite.

Ni The WTs were reportedly negotiating a new contract with different terms.. Until that was sorted there was no signing on the dotted line. The curve ball no doubt has stalled everything.

I think he was a handy buy - plenty of FG experience. Holds his own. Agree V.

People overlook the quality of the human - he is the type of person coaches want to coach. He has a ton of natural talent and hasn't come close to reaching his ceiling. Of course Flannagan would be interested with an aging FB in his team.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Bula doesn't have to start in career best form to garner interest from elsewhere he already has it - factors in play - money and career progression. Negotiations have stalled for a reason/s He is not a single entity in this he has a manager who will be currently speaking to other clubs...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

A bit like when they start at a new club and say it's the toughest preseason training they have had. Yet to hear a player who says anything but - standard response.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Flannagan made us look like fools when he took Fifita off us. Bula is a quality human and a player with untapped ability no surprises that he sees another opportunity to strike when the club is looking like a basket case again

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Bula is not at fault for stalling the negotiation process. Forcing him to make a decision based on the clubs poor decision making would be dumb as. It's perfectly understandable for his people to sit back and see what is actually happening at board level before committing.
