    Heamasi Makasini #303

Toa has his moments but too inconsistent, and injury prone, for mine. I still see that centre position as a weakness for us.

    Adam Doueihi #227

Still the most bizarre signing for me in 26+. Can’t wait to see how he’s used ( if at all) and how’s much he’s developed as a Bronco. But then again, maybe there’s something happening that Benji knows but hasn’t shared ( ie Luai decides he’s had enough?

2026 squad - still not good enough

Your assessment sounds credible SC but I ( and other oldies on here) are dreaming of an 8 this year, followed by a 4 in 27. Please let us dream a little longer !

2026 squad - still not good enough

Bennett sees something. but think it’s because Souths lost their main man. As I mentioned elsewhere I think Elliot is over the hill and I’m glad we didn’t pursue.

    Jahream Bula #269

Coz AD was more loyal than most of us realise. Comes from a good family and realised that WT nursed him through some shocking injuries/ rehab. Let’s not forget he’s a Tigers junior and whilst he did go to Souths when he was younger, it’s safe to say he’s a loyal club man. Provided he stays...

    Food thread

Lucky you, after a long career based around long lunches and fine wines at the best venues, it all stopped years ago when I retired . Whilst my wife and I still have the occasional long lunch it’s just not the same as the waitress coming around from your 1pm booking to remakes the table for...

    Food thread

You should, I was the same many years ago but now really love it, I prefer tuna but my wife likes salmon so we get some of both. And when out we always go for the Kingfish entree which seems to be the fish of choice in restaurants these days. Nice pre dinner snack with a glass of something. But...

    Rugby league history

Don’t remind me, a real shocker. Funnily enough I saw some highlights of a Super League game recently and the same player pulled an almost similar stunt, and got a penalty. Chronic offender but hey, if it works keep doing it ! I almost puked !!!!
