To be fair to the NSWRL the reserve grade final date has been set since the start of the year. NRL decided to change the format at of the past few years and set today’s preliminary final to Sunday. Agree it is terrible scheduling

Not sure. Potentially it is only the NRL contracted players (all Top 30, T&T etc) that train at Concord. Bit hard for someone only on a reserve grade contract who may need to work to supplement their income
