    Politis slams “jealous” critics

@Go_You_Good_Things Uncle Nick also does not mention that these 16,17,18 year old kids, that he has lured from other teams, not just from school carnivals, he got Lui from us, and then who actually make it to first grade, have upgraded payments ie Mitchell , whose manager will be asking for what...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

@Spud_Murphy Matterson has not been let go, and from what I hear, he will not be going anywhere , unless there is a benefit to us. I think too many people here are getting too negative.

NRL giving away thousands of tickets to boost Roosters Storm final

@tig_prmz Yes that is right, and the reason for this is, what is in NRL for them to get excited about, if there local team is not doing so well each year, and the same teams win, and the game is biased against their team. Why go through the suffering like we do. Majority of famliies would live...

Confirmed: Matterson released from Wests Tigers.

@supercoach Well Matterson is also another Cleary signing which appears to have gone sour. If you want to put some blame on research on player signings then there is a target

Confirmed: Matterson released from Wests Tigers.

@Telltails If his form warrants him to play first grade so be it, but if he starts kicking stones like Moses , then he should be dropped, No player friend or not wants a team member not trying. For team harmony he should be just let off his contract as I said b4 it gives an indication that any...

Confirmed: Matterson released from Wests Tigers.

@Telltails If any player is unhappy to play with us, and is on a contract, and is a player we actually want to keep , leave him in 2nd grade, until they are prepared to play 1st grade again. Otherwise you will get more players just opting out of contract for any sort of minor reason. Sooner or...

    POLL: ESAN MARSTERS

Definitely a keep. Just remember he has not had a break for 2 seasons, he went with the NZ side to England then comes back a plays with the Tigers again, and has a sub standard season. I remember a lot of good players were effected the same after Kangaroo tours.

Lawrence to weigh up future after ruling out Super League move

@851 I would then like to know who you would of selected this season to replace them, and who we could purchase that is available and better than these players. No point saying things with no substance.

    Bye Farah

@hobbo1 Yeah we will probably start playing our home game against the Roosters at Allianz then follow that up with another home game against Parramatta at Bank West. Then you will still blame it on Leichhardt that we did not make the 8, even though we win 2 out of 3 games at Leichhardt.

Lawrence to weigh up future after ruling out Super League move

@851 That is crap, I am not saying Farah , Rowdy and Benji are the the best players out there, however for what we have paid for them, they are value for money. The main reason we did not make the 8, is that a large chunk of our cap is not in FG. This money could of better used on players...

    Bye Farah

@the_third I will go and watch Wanderers there as well, but can you tell me why we play a home game at Bank West against Parramatta, i think really that is stupidity

    Bye Farah

@Snake Well the sooner you see reality in what the paying fans want the better for you. Wests Tigers have been at Leichhardt since day dot, whatever you think this is our spiritual ground, you cannot change what is fact. If we played all our games at LO and CSO we probably be in the 8. So with...

    “Fortress Leichhardt

@gallagher Yeah and look at the teams we play and the days we play there. When they played Souths at Bank West they drew 9000 crowd, at Leichhardt on a Thursday night against Cowboys we got 10,000, and that was as far out of the city as you can get.
  14. T

    Bye Farah

@Snake That's total BS, we had a sellout crowd at Leichhardt Oval yesterday, and on two previous matches which we won, against Manly on a wet Saturday night we attracted 13,000, and against an outer town team Cowboys on a Thursday night we got 10,000. That is a lot better than one win out of 4...

    Balmain Leagues Club

Wests Tigers spiritual grounds are Campbelltown and Leichhardt, that is where they played their first season. So LO is actually our spiritual ground.

    Balmain Leagues Club

@Tigers_Tale Sorry Wests Tigers (my bad)

    Balmain Leagues Club

@cktiger Well, it can be called West Tigers or Balmain (with West Tigers Logo advertised) leagues Club, its in our best interest as West Tigers members/supporters/juniors, that it gets up and operating.

I'm Putting Myself Out There By Saying This

Do you think Manly or Penrith would transfer their game to ANZ, unlikely. Keep the Shark supporters away and take as much advantage as we can

Lawrence to weigh up future after ruling out Super League move

West Tigers have McIntyre, Smith, Seyfarth, Lealuga-Puhotau, Bradley, Jennings and Eisenhuth taking up spots in the 30 because they have to have 30 players, and these players would be on minimum payments, and McIntyre, Seyfarth Bradley and Lealuga-Puhotau were development players. Basically...

    Balmain Leagues Club

Lets just concentrate on getting Balmain Leagues Club up and running and see the benefits of this. The old Balmain and Wests have gone but need to be remembered , we are now West Tigers. * Look at the location on Victoria Road just out side the City, and close to Leichhardt Oval. * Imagine the...
