Your most stressful game of 2019...

Definitely that second Bulldogs game. We were only up by 8 at half time and it was just the kind of game we always lose.

    Another year coming 9th

    Appreciate the positivity mate!

Brooks with quick service, balls on the chest, service in front

We look better without Farah in the side. Tigers legend through and through, so would love to see him get a farewell. But I'd rather make the finals so Reynolds needs to play 9. The thing I like about Reynolds is he always sees Brooks as the first option and Benji second.

321 For Dragons Game Round 24

3 - Momo 2 - Benji 1 - Brooks Tough to split them tbh. Gave the 3 to Momo for scoring more than half our points. Benji looked dangerous all game with a few try assists and a try. Brooks had the best defensive game I've ever seen him play and looked great all night in attack too.

Tigers tell Reynolds he's free to find a new club

Still think he's an average 9 but to be honest I thought he played decent today, aside from a few odd passes. Would be happy to keep him at 9 next year until Liddle fully recovers. Benji looked good at 9 but he's too old to be playing 80 in the middle. He's best kept at 6.

General tactics - missing some basics?

I'm no footballer but does anyone else notice the simple things wrong with our team's tactics compared to others? Things like * passing the ball straight to another player where they have to stop and look at the defensive line, instead of passing it in front of them to run on to with momentum...

Tigers tell Reynolds he's free to find a new club

He's not great at 9 to be honest. Service is just a bit better than Taylors but nothing special. Much better at 6 in my opinion. Would be interesting to see Madge trial Reynolds/Benji/Brooks at 6/7/9 respectively sometime in the match since our season is done anyway.

Issac Luke seems finished at Warriors, approves of Wests Tigers suggestion

McCullough and Lichaa offer nothing. Baptiste coming off an ACL. Luke is our best option by a long way.

    Brooks at 9

I've been a big fan of Brooks since he debuted but what I saw in the game against Manly has me seriously worried. Everytime he got the ball he refused to play it out the back. Every single time he tried the short ball to the forward on his left. Absolutely no creativity or dynamic play...

    321 for Bulldogs Round 20

3 - Matterson 2 - Momo 1 - Thompson Matto continues to prove he's our best player. Momo did a lot of work to score those tries, unlucky with the kick at the end there. Thompson constantly diving into the line. I dare say if Brooks had passed him the ball when we were in the attacking zone we...

    Another year coming 9th

Nothing new to be honest. Had plenty of opportunity on their line and couldn't convert. Benji made a fair few mistakes but at least he bloody tried and almost helped us lock it up at the death. Brooks with his stupid short balls didn't do anything. We're the same team we've always been. Losing...

Lawrence to weigh up future after ruling out Super League move

Absolute legend of the club. 250k should be good enough to keep him I'd say. Maybe 300k if we can get rid of some dead wood.

    The J(uro) Curve

I feel like this is going to come down to our last game against the Sharks in Round 26. Eerily familiar to 2016...

Confirmed: Matulino to hang up boots after career ending knee injury.

Real unfortunate for Mats, thought he's been decent for us. As much as it pains me to say it, could be a win-win for both parties. Mats gets his money and can take care of his family, and we get the opporunity to sign at least one more quality player for next year. Hate that I think like this...

Mediocrity - Accepting It/Not Accepting It

Great post. Gotta be honest, it's bloody tough mate. I think very few fans of other teams truly know how tough it can be, bar maybe the Eels and Titans fans. But I'll never walk away. If we lose until the end of time then I'll just have to die a very unhappy man.

Best post match I’ve seen from Michael Maguire

Madge is the only thing that gives me confidence that we might turn it around someday.

Love Madge. He sees it like we do. Been here a year and already sick of the losing culture.

321 thread for Round 18 vs the Raiders

3 - Twal (although nobody really deserves 3 points) 2 - Nofoaluma 1 - Mbye Probably get laughed at for this but though Mbye looked pretty decent, lots of energy in his running and he looked like he might create something at times. Even Momo didn't look too bad.

I know we played ok and the effort was there. But I'm honestly so sick of praising effort rather than wins. I'm just over it.

The Mole: Wests Tigers circling Manly centre

Whole heartedly agree. But Teddy didn't leave for more money this time, he left for the chance to win premierships. Pretty sure we offered over a million for him and he's on the books at the Roosters for around 800k. He wanted to be a winner at all costs, and take the easy way to get there...
