    Happy New Year 🎊

With all the recent upheaval looks like we might finally be moving in the right direction as a club. Hope the new year delivers success not only to our club but to every one of our supporters and their families as well. Happy new year!

    Jarome Luai

Maybe also waiting for the Olam thing to resolve and then do a multi signing announcement.

    Jarome Luai

Luai won't be here til 2025 anyway so it's possible we won't get any signing announcement til the new year. Tomorrow would be a real bonus. Any more action on Olam?

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Does anyone take seriously anything emanating from this Mole buffoon?

Richo should have fun dealing with Moses. Something of a mismatch I'd think.

    Jarome Luai

Assuming Luai does arrive at WT, as now seems likely, his on field talent, as good as it is, may actually prove less significant than the bonus of our finally losing the "can't sign a marquee player" stigma and being able to attract other class players to the club.

And a very belated thank you to this Forums moderators for all their work over this past year trying to keep things in some kind of order. Very much appreciated.

    Merry Christmas everybody

Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope those couple of big presents we were expecting arrive soon! Have a much better feeling about the new season than the past several. Don't expect overnight miracles but just think we might surprise a few of our harshest critics. Hope so anyway!

Don't disagree but not happy wasting any more time on this bloke next year if he's off to the fish in '25

Lets see if we can get anything out of the fishheads for an early release? Money, a player maybe...

    Jarome Luai

Not surprising things are taking a little longer to settle than hoped for. The NRL couldn't run a kid's birthday party and, well, it is Christmas and then there's that upcoming Vegas junket to enjoy. So little time! Hopefully there'll be something positive soon.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Tupou did ok for us in a few games and not so good in quite a few others. Always nice to keep the young guys with promise but his leaving, if it happens, is an otherwise minor blip on the WT landscape.

    CEO - Shane Richardson

Had an elderly in-law who once played in a Souths team captained by Clive Churchill back in the 50's. Richo turned up at his funeral. He was Souths CEO at the time. The family very much appreciated him taking the time to pay tribute to one of his club's old players. Lovely bloke.

Couldn't care less who did the legwork. Just glad we finally closed a deal with the bloke (assuming the stupid 10 day period of reflection doesn't result in the deal going off the rails).

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Assuming the Luai deal becomes firm after the review period, it's a massive vote for the "new" Wests Tigers and likely to help us get other quality players who may have otherwise been concerned about joining us because of the constant barrage of negative garbage from the usual media hacks

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I think despite the league media idiots trying to put their usual negative spin on anything the club does, including these necessary changes, most player managers-including Luai's-will see Richo's appointment in particular as a clear indication the joint has finally gotten its act together and...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Still think we're a good chance of landing Luai with Richo helping out Benji & Co with negotiations for season '25 and beyond. A lot better chance than with the dogs breakfast of an administration we've just moved on from

    CEO - Shane Richardson

Richo reminds me a lot of Ange Postecoglu, the "unfashionable" Aussie manager/coach of Premier League soccer team Tottenham Hotspur, currently running 6th in what is, arguably, one of the toughest competitions of any sport in the world. Ange's modus operandi, like Richo's is, get a system that...

WT Ownership, The Board & Senior Management - MEGA Thread

How nice it is to see a real pro in action. Loved Richo's press conference. I think he'll be here long after the 6 month bedding in period has passed. Think we're in pretty good hands.
