I’d hardly call what Penrith did to the Eels as a grind. More like a slice and dice. But I do think it will be a grind this week, long as we don’t try and play to not lose rather than play to win. (PS just mo re Toa, imo bring him back gradually. He’s too fragile otherwise)

True but irrespective of signings would have taken us forward .

TF3, Just a comment re Cleary, he was slowly turning things around and imo would have definitely got us into the semi finals if he’d seen out his contract. Not knocking what Benji has done but we are so starved of success we are latching into any stats we can find. As I said a couple weeks ago...

I think your memory is blurred F, yes they were, didn’t you watch them progress through the juniors into grade. They fed off each other !

Plus he and Moses were a dynamic duo. IMO Brooks needed someone to play off and became lost when Moses left and he was expected to step up on his own. And he rarely did ! I think at Manly firstly DCE didn’t really give him what he needed and so far Fogarty hasn’t either.

Thought he had a good game tonight, much more involved and tailing AD on the inside got him a try. Safe under the high ball although Wah kicks were pretty much a metre or two, too deep.

I think another learning curve for him. Remember we have 2 makeshift centres, so it makes it all the more worthwhile.

Fantastic effort, I gave them little chance but they have done us proud. Excellent D the basis for the win. AD,Madden and Bula all good games but lots of support. Onya Tigers.
