After his performance on Sunday, woukd anyone consider starting with Tristan and bringing Api on after 20 minutes? Seems to be a waste of Api’s skills in having him doing a lot of defending early on and burning energy. I’d rather have him fresher and targeting tired forwards.

I feel many of our future signings and re-signings may have clauses in them regarding Benji being coach - and that has its own problems if they go down that path.

I wonder if the club has spoken to AD about a move to 13? I think he has the size and skill and his defence has improved this year. We can more easily use his kicking game and being close to the ruck, he can free up Latu and Jerome to play a little wider. Could be the missing piece

Benji may feel more confident giving Api a rest if Tristan is considered to be more defensively reliable and provide better service from dummy half than TDS. He was very solid today - looked like a NRL player

With Luai coming back, I expect Luke will move back to KoE. Given that the KoE has experienced some success over the past few weeks, it may worthwhile keeping him at centre to help him learn the defensive aspects of the position.

LG has very high effort and energy which is a positive. I think Luai even commented he was about the fittest player he had played with. But that effort and commitment does not make up for some short comings in his game. For mine, he is simply not quick enough to be a half and is a limited...

Good post. From everything I have seen, Latu has a higher ceiling than Galvin. Latu plays like an experienced NRL player (direct, defends well and is a run threat). I think Galvin struggles in these areas and still plays like he did in the juniors. TDS is not as clear cut but needs to develop...
