This could've gone way worse. Realistically we're missing 5 of our best players. Take 5 of any team's best players out they struggle. Throw in a desperate opponent and crooked ref rigging it and thats what you get.

Yeah he played relatively well. The penalty was a bit silly but he got pushed first and the ref was just giving cronulla every call possible at that point.

He's a back-up quality hooker and played like one. We can't have first graders as back-ups at every position. Of course the drop-off will appear steep when you're going from one of the best in the league to a reserve grader.

Makasini's bad game was a bad drop on a kick, a silly decision to go down the sideline when he should've cut in field, and a drop on what was essentially a hospital pass from Bula. Far less than Tavana's today.

I wouldn't give Sione a tough time. He's been great this year. Sometimes stuff like this happens.
