I think the knights perfer brooks over madden mainly due to the time needed,ponga after all the head knocks and injuries probably won't have a long career. Madden if he ever becomes a quality half is probably needs at least a year or two to get there, while if they can get brooks to play with...

Brooks problem isn't that he is shit at everything. in fact I think he does most things you want a half to do such as running the ball,passing and even kicking, better than Hastings but he almost completely lacks the ability to mange a game which is the most important ability fo a half imo...

Brooks leaving is probably best for both him and the club tbh with a fresh start he might be able to discover his 2018-2019 form which was pretty decent but he fell off in a big way in 2020 and his improvement this year wasn't big enough to justify keeping him any longer imo the only problem is...
