    How many bombed tries??

Is it just me or do we bomb a lot of tries every time we play on a Sunday arvo at Leichhardt? It seems like the guys get over excited and just push things too much, they don't play the same controlled footy as we do when we play at night.

    Cronk

Not at all, I thought his kicking game was outstanding and he also made a linebreak early in the match when he ran it. Thurston was very quiet, he made a couple of errors early in both halves and he seemed to go missing after that.

    Wayne Bennet

Results wise nothing changed in 03, but there were signs that year because Sheens brought in a lot of promising youngsters such as Farah, Marshall, Halatau, Gibbs, Covell (Despite most of his success being at Cronulla) and Heighington. And we did have a few good wins that year. The one's that...

    Lockyer on footy show

Also add to that we had to finish the game with no Fulton and Heighington struggling with a leg injury.

Humphreys and Skando disappointed with Campbelltown's crowd

Sydney crowds are always crap in this period. I would say it's a few factors, I wouldn't say they're great excuses but I am sure they contribute: 1\. The origin period - Not only is it deflating for the fans of the clubs with the missing players but it is also deflating for the opposition fans...

Tigers in wet run for finals

I think that happened later on, from memory he knocked back offers from Balmain because he had ambitions of being leagues first $1 million a season player, then when he realised he couldn't get that, he wanted to stay at Balmain but the issue with his manager popped up. Still one of my...

    Danger in Newcaslte

I remember threads popping up in the finals last year where we were all looking ahead to the Melbourne prelim and not really thinking much of the Warriors semi. All I'll say about the Knights game is we have a reasonable recent record up there and barring any injuries next week, if we play to...

    Sterlo's Praise of Heighington

I think he has made a difference, I think his attack has improved as well. He has a little bit of footwork which just allows him to get away from the defender a touch to get the offloads away. He showed he can play before the line as well with that pass to Lawrence which he has done a few times...

    Lote

Yeah you could see when Lote caught the ball, he had to slow down which caused him to even stumble a little bit. Lote's pace doesn't worry me, it's his handling if anything that worries me.

The wrestle & a rookie rake

I thought he had some good moments but the let downs were a couple of penalties and that 4th tackle kick. To me it seemed like he was trying too hard tonight, which is understandable considering he will only have limited opportunities this season.

    Best record against the storm?

Nahh mate it was our home game, I remember because in 2007, we played down at Olympic Park in rd 1, it was Folau's debut match… And Moodie's comeback match. It would of been Morris' first match for us as well. So the 2nd match against them that year was our home game in Gosford.

Your favourite Wests Tigers non finals game?

Warriors vs Bulldogs @ the showground 2003\. The Dogs were favourites and the Warriors ran a muck with their offloading, from memory Meli scored 5 tries I think.

    Gallop Gone

I heard Ray Warren say on radio that John Quayle should asked to take over, cant see that happening though.

    Has Benji lost pace

To me he has been a bit slower ever since he did his knee. It happens, I was quick in my youth, did my knee and never regained my pace. Also it could be due to the fact that he has been in the halves for so long. As the old saying goes 'Use it or lose it', being in the halves for so long he is...

    Gallop Gone

Is there a possibility News could have a say now after this? They were insistent that they won't leave the game unless Gallop is CEO when the Commission began.

    Yay Parra

I tipped the Titans as well but pushed my luck too far by tipping the Warriors, after the Warriors led 12-0 I was feeling like a genius!

    Thanks, Parra: Tigers Top 4!

No thanks from me! They cost me a $150 win. I just needed Cronulla to cover the -3.5 start. As you can imagine I was cheering at 1/2 time when it was 20-6 :/

    The Evolution of Benji

I'll reserve judgement until the end of the season, maybe even next season. But the signs are good, with the extra experience he has now compared to when the experiment was first tried, he certainly has a calmer head on his shoulders. I think his biggest improvement this season has been his...

    Origin Selectors!.

I don't mind Grant being there but personally I still don't see what the hype is about Merrin continually being retained despite having minimal impact in every match.
