    Adam Reynolds

I think we pretty much agree that if given the reigns, Moses would pretty much run the team around on his own & needs a 'foil' type of player next to him. Blake Green has been mentioned. What if…. and this is about to set the mob off.... a player like Daniel Mortimer was brought in?

    Freddie

He coached the Roosters didn't he?

    Freddie

He's not a first timer. And he's not likely to let ego's push him around.

    Freddie

Call me crazy, but he WOULD be my choice of coach if Taylor was moved on.

Are we an oridinary side or victims?

We are a "developing" side. Not good, but talent-wise, not bad. And I honestly believe, better than last year. This year we are developing forward momentum that we haven't had for a couple of years. And our defense is good for 80% of a game. We place too much pressure on ourselves through poor...

Brutally honest opinion on our halves

As soon as these 2 learn that repeat sets win games, we will start to see results. Yes, they make boneheaded plays too often. They play Sheens-ball too often, trying to razzle dazzle the opposition. Forward momentum (it's coming along nicely) and sustained pressure. And then we will talk about...

Robbie - Gone as an attacking threat?

Speaking of hookers that give a spark on the field, really like what i see out of Baptiste from Canberra. Quick service, busy… looks like a player that compliments the guys around him.

    Official team v Storm

If Sue is passed fit to play I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop to the bench with Edwards starting at lock. Sue then becomes a bench prop with Aloiai. Sironen & Chee Kam would be playing for 1 spot as the 'running back rower'. Lovett & Buchanan compete as the 'worker'. If Sue isn't...

    Our Forwards

We still don't win 'the forward battle'. The players are there. It's a pretty decent pack, in reality. But just when we find a team you could physically get on top of, like the Knights, instead of beating them into submission with deep runs & momentum, we get a little too 'creative' in our...

    Nathan Milone

I'm not Milone's biggest fan. Heleta or Peni next week. Peni if it were my choice I think. But, I'm not privvy to what goes on at training. perhaps Milone is a standout at training. I am not going to call for wholesale changes. It would be nice to have a centre able to fashion out...

    Our Forwards

Forwards aren't bad at all. They are short an 'impact' player or 2 off the bench I'd think. Halatau, Farah & Lovett are a bit slow/lack true impact to continue that 'forward roll' that Woods, Grant, Sue & Ava have been providing. They need 1 more guy off the bench adding that. Alioi & Edwards...

What do you look forward to everyday?

I know a couple of ex's that would benefit from extreme chess then..

What do you look forward to everyday?

Sad as it sounds, as I read this thread I thought…. I don't really know. I guess I look forward to relaxing with a show I enjoy when it's on. But at this stage in my life, I'm not living 'in the moment' so much as living for the moments to come. Building a business, my partner lives in Wales &...

Unpopular view, but I reckon we are going Ok

I'm seriously trying to think back to the last time I saw a 'captain' give his players a proper 'revving up' on field & saw some kind of turnaround in the standard of play. In fact, I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a captain rev up his team at all. This blame of Woods' captaincy, and...

Wests Tigers in running to sign Elijah Taylor

I think Sue has been our best forward all season. Taylor would either push Sironen to the bench, or be first player off the bench.

Wests Tigers in running to sign Elijah Taylor

There is very little downside to signing Taylor. It seems a smart addition if possible.

We are in the stats, why are we 2/5?

I know what you are saying Col, but from his lasts years team he has lost an international fullback, international centre, origin 5/8th, plus he has an international prop and international secondrower out for the first 10 rounds, throw in an origin half who is missing the first 8 games. This...

Unpopular view, but I reckon we are going Ok

Agreed stevetiger. If Brooks & Moses can learn to BUILD consistant pressure, this team will be in much better shape. Still too much 'kill shot' attempts & not enough wearing down the defence.

Unpopular view, but I reckon we are going Ok

I can agree with a fair bit of that. Yet, not getting blown away. What does that say? Just a little more mental toughness, which can develop over the course of the season, and where does that put this team?

    Congrats Luke Brooks..

So it's about this point in his career where things should start to come together a bit more. That said, 50 games at what, 22 years of age? 21? There's still a lot of personal growth ahead of him.
