But he had his hat in the ring for the dragons job. Apparently all not well between Mal and Ben.

I think the other issue is, how many coaches would want to coach under Benji. The assistant coach candidates will be better credentialed than Benji and Benji will be learning off them instead of the other way around.

Not the worst but a bad shout. As far as I am aware he’s never coached? We need coaches with experience who are on the up.

This is correct. It was Adam’s selfishness that caused the issue. He didn’t want to play lock. I believe Benji is trying to take the heat off Adam by saying Benji was the one to stand Adam down because he wasn’t in the right head space. I strongly suspect Adam pulled out. Then Isaac Moses...

His defence has always been suspect. I worry about his motor too. I’d prefer to just buy a known commodity 13 than try and convert Adam.

See you later Adam. He is a good player but doesn’t have a position. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. I was surprised we re-signed him. We will be better off without him long term. I hope we can get a player swap from his new club (if not Perth or PNG!).

No way. Someone will take him. Galvin and his dossier made no difference.

Almost certainly the 48 hours gave Isaac enough time to ring around and find out that at least one other club will offer Adam more money if he can get a release.

Bula was only ever average. We over valued him like we do with our own players so often. His extension has created a real problem for us as fullback is basically the most important position in a team and we are paying him dollars equivalent to a superstar but getting a bottom 6 fullback.

I don’t know how the Raiders attract and stock pile talent so well. I love the city of Canberra but it’s hardly a destination with the cold weather to attract decent players capable of playing first grade who are happy to bide their time in reserves.

Herbert and Sione have tried the hardest today.

Our structured attack is so bad we have to try kicking on the second tackle. We suck. We are so far off the pace.

I can’t believe it. Three or four raiders tries were on the next set after Luai errors.

He would be worse on the wing.

The ref is very quick to award the raiders with a 6 again.

Absolutely he did. I noticed it too. Canberra hadn’t regathered yet.

Yep. I’m not sure how we will get out of his contract.

It’s going to get ugly. They are rolling through our middle.

Ordinary sets. All one out and then a crap pass from Herbert. We struggle with the fundamentals.

Bula dropped that. Should have been a try.
