On order to overcome our weakness out wide there's a guy who played against the Lions in the rugby match who might be worth looking at apparently he had a good game and interested the Australian coach " Triston Reilly should be on his radar". He could be a good pick up as believe he has some...

$600M of taxpayers money shouldn't be directed towards a professional sport for a team in another sovereign country. Whether it's 1% of the budget or 100% it's still a waste and there'll be nothing to show for it in 10 years - not bridge, not better road, not a port - maybe just a football team...

Can't be any worse than the French or American.

Don't get too excited over the PNG side the Australian taxpayers are funding ( why I have no freaking idea) - it won't last long. Man who won $600m from Albanese government for PNG rugby league embroiled in corruption scandal

Are we all so fragile that we are living our lives vicariously through people that we will generally have little to zero personal connection with during our lives. Always intrigues by how much emotional angst gets spilt on the outcome of a selection/non-selection or the result of game.

He profile gets better "Peters and Wigan Warriors head coach Matt Peet were caught on camera having an altercation at full-time during a clash between the two sides during the 2024 season."

Sure he'd fit right in "On 15 September 2017, Peters left his position at Manly after it was alleged he had been involved in a fight with another Manly staff member at a pub in The Rocks, Sydney. Peters was issued with an infringement notice by police for offensive behaviour."

Probably not , just a process of elimination with logic. Ivan had been here and wouldn't come back in 2 or 3 lifetimes so he's not likely to have applied. Bellamy you'd doubt whether he's altruism extends to curing a basket case worse than Lazarus in the bible so he's out (but still not 100%...

None of those 16 applications would have been from coaches who had won the last 8 grand finals nor Wayne Bennet so we could be in exactly the same place we are today if we have read them.

So how will he win a premiership at either of those ? The PNG is just a pipe dream and will be finished in 5 years. Perth may take longer but they won't be winning a premiership by the time he's 30+ either.

There's are difference between "big, bulky" and what body shape they have in Campbelltown.

He's not named against the WT this weekend so he's available.

Soon

"to keep Kerr but the 29-year-old" from the story!

He'll be up against the incumbent hooker and will have to earn first grade.

He's a professional footballer not a sop to a millenial's ego.

I forgot Cleary couldn't do anything either with us. He joins an illustrious group of Pearce, Most of Sheens, Potter , Taylor and Maguire so surely there must be some coaching talent in that lot so it's not all Benji

There's no coach out there who will change the trajectory of what's happening with the Tigers now.

As it was Wayne Pearce, most of Tim Sheen's reign, Mick Potter, Jason Taylor and Michael Maguire.

No - due to circumstances 1) never got to face the accuser and 2) the DPP gave up on trying to get a unanimous verdict.
