With the shift to the left that saw Tupou down the sideline, Will Smith had a gap just begging to be run through, but he keeps the pill moving along. It shows the importance of speed in the halves, along with the confidence to put the pedal to the floor.

The recent matches where a key opposition player has gone down have not ended well for us as far as I remember. Fingers crossed this ends up different

So I am dusting the cobwebs off my optimist hat, and putting it on for a moment. Today's referee is Todd Smith. In his short career to date, he has controlled 4 Wests Tigers matches, all of them resulting in a loss for the Tigers. Over the same period of time, the Tigers have recorded a 17%...

I just don't see how he fits in...position and roster spots. Probably just someone with too much time on their hands

You would think so, but nothing would surprise me anymore these days. That's also assuming Sheens would have had anything to do with it.

This has been further clarified as being reported by Buzz Rothfield. I haven't seen it anywhere, but it is Buzz...take with a pinch of salt I guess.

Saw this on Facebook. Possibly just a troll with too much time on their hands, but stranger things have happened. Anyone know anything?

Me too, there just isn't a lot of choice out there.

You think Sezer is still heading to Concord?

I like those signings too. I just think having someone more experienced for at least a year will help their transition to full time first grade.

I don't mind it in the same capacity as a Sezer signing, i.e a seasoned half to help see the young guys through, nothing more than that though. I haven't seen him play much recently, but is Sezer a better signing than Pearce?

Mitchell Pearce set to come back to Oz and test the open market. Could this be a reason for the delay in the signing of Sezer? Are WT still considering making a play at a Mitchell Pearce homecoming (of sorts)?

The touchie may even get some dally m points

2 try assists from kicks for Api, he is looking like the best 7 at the club

stupid stuff from Laurie

The commentators are even joking about it, that is how blatant it has become

I genuinely can't believe it...3/3 tries from forward passes

I thought the ref was having a good game until then. What are the touchies paid for?

2nd forward pass from Woolford not called, and a try results. FMD!

spot on. 2 well weighted kicks could have resulted in tries so far. Instead we hand them 2 7 tackle sets
