I agree, with the concept of a captains challenge the quick tap should not exist and makes no sense.

I cant see how this would be possible, yes, we are paying some freight on Luai next yr, we have Bula on 900k, Terell on $900k and then it goes down from there, we don't have any halves on more than $600k (next yr, not counting Averillo as he is a centre) so where have we tied up all the money...

Spot on, dragging some of our young wingers/centres over the coals when the numbers were stripped way before play gets to them....i see it all too often. Yes, perhaps more experienced centres and wingers can shut it down, however we are playing inexperienced kids out there, they will need time...

I'm a believer in the need to feed these guys opportunities in attack in order to keep them more focused and hungry in defense. Our outside backs have been starved of quality/early ball for weeks now so it will get frustrating and difficult to stay focused. Its like only eating the mash and...

i would say that pass was marginal and not forward, however there were 2 passes that led to that try at halftime right after Luais pass, especially that one from Robson to Walker that was close to a meter forward, he passed before the 10m line and Walker caught it about 1/2m over the line. even...

Agree with you re Javon, he is much more deceptive with ball in hand and he can also slow down and speed up more than Luai can. Luai is a bit more of a jack in the box type player, he can disrupt a defensive line with his running style, if you watch the games at Penrith he would often do this...

He looked right at klein saw him there and then stared moving towards him and made contact. Never had eyes for the player with the ball. It was so blatant that dogs fanboys ennis and anasta even admitted it. He should be charged and suspended for making deliberate contact with the ref.

Kikau has been the difference since he came back...however he is at a point where any injury will severely restrict him. Not sure how many years he has left on his contract though.

So are we now out of the finals race in KOE?

If not the Roosters perhaps a good fit would be the Bulldogs, maybe Gus sees more upside in Samuela then Preston and throw Latu into the mix and he gets his halfback spot filled as well.

on top of what he has already earned and all the other 3rd party deals, yes it is. If he leaves it will be for the Broncs, they are the only ones with a sombrero to rival the Rorters.

My understanding is there is a clause related to commercial/market rates. So the reality will be each party will get a valuation done on purchasing or leasing and they will have to meet somewhere in the middle. From what I heard the developer is keen to sell and not lease so that's a bit of a...

All at teams that are still playing for a finals berth. I expect Benji will bring 1 or 2 up each week to first grade to give them a taste, and to be fair it looks like he has already started doing this with Javon Josese, Haywood, Sukuru, Roberts etc.. and i expect he will continue doing this in...

He is worth what the market will pay him and I agree that $5m over 4 years is good money and close to what he is worth in my opinion. Having said that I don't begrudge these guys going after the $$, their careers earning good coin are limited and they could get a career ending injury at any...

Lets compare Benji's performance to other coaches that are still considered rookies in first grade i.e. Ciraldo, Foran, Ryles, Fitzy and Hannay. Of the lot he is probably the second most inexperienced behind Foran and of the lot I could probably say that Ciraldo is coaching a club that was in a...

Broncos will make him an offer that he cannot refuse

You cant drop players that take up an option to play elsewhere in 18months time (until we decided to punt him for next yr) we agreed to those out clauses and other potential players are watching how we treat ours.

if Latu and Javon can make some sort of impact next year in the halves than you may see coaches lining up to take the reins. No coach wants to come into a club that is a complete mess and especially lacking quality in the spine, however that could change fairly quickly if they see significant...

has that actually been confirmed?

Thankfully that will be Parras problem in a month or so. Lets hope he does not do any further damage to the WT on his way out.
