we all said our weakest positions for depth before the season even started were 2nd row, centre, FB and hooker. And whadya know, we lost both our second rowers, we lost our strike centre in May and Maka is carrying an injury and too inexperienced, starford is a bum, Api got suspended then copped...

i think the problem is these guys that came back are carrying injuries that will likely need operations in the off season. The only one that has come back unhindered is Samuela and he looks to have picked up where he left off.

the last time i believe anyone was penalised for running or passing after being called held was David Noufaluma, the next time it happens will be to a tigers player.

Surely we are not that stupid.....wait a minute....i take that back.

maybe thats the answer...no Magpie, no Tiger, no Wests, no Balmain...give us a whole new team, mascot, coaching staff, board, ownership group. Western Sydney Griffins

the sooner you learn and accept that, the better your life is.

I have not bothered watching this team for the last 4 weeks...what they are dishing up is putrid, the AD shenanigans have made me a bit more interested in the Parra game just to see what he dishes up and the dynamic across the rest of the team. There is also the API 250 and how they lift or dont...

Pasifika Tonga is the one i think you could shake free...the couchman boys look like they are locked in at the Dragons.

if sukkar stays on his current trajectory of improvement he could be a handy backup second rower. We do need at least 1 more with some NRL experience.

I like Ethan as a middle, i think another offseason/preseason in the gym and he will be a beast. Was carrying that foot injury in pre-season which has probably impacted his development.

Such a sad indictment of the state of the club and fan base when we are relying on ex jailbirds that have not played a game of rugby league in 5 years to give us some hope. Based on the last 10 weeks/yrs you cant blame us though.

Toa has really shit the bed this year...I am truly shocked that Manly picked him up. Maybe I will be proven wrong when he plays every game and wins Dally M Center of the year in 2027.

In the interview Benji made a comment about the "senior guys" getting us out of the rut we are in. So maybe he is putting it on them to turn this around...the only younger guy in that side is Makasini.

The mental health card and just needing a week off to clear his head that Benji discussed in the post game press conference would have made it very difficult not to pick him this week. Whilst i did not want to see him in the team and would have been more passionate about it if Latu was not...

might go some way to explaining his lack of impact...modified training would likely mean he is carrying an injury or has taken on too much load earlier on and the High performance staff are limiting his load at training.

nor did i, usually arrives like clockwork at 4pm

Api is the one shining light in this club...we truly do not deserve him. Hopefully the rest of the team put in some sort of effort this weekend to not make the game a total embarrassment.

Some weird picks from Benji across his whole coaching career, we are not privy to the reasons. However for me not picking Latu to play 6 or 7 when AD and Luai were out at different stages is the one that stands out the most. Would love to hear why he did this.

Leaks have already started i.e. he will play remainder of this yr and reassess. This is all about $$ AD is not getting 7 money and is agitating for it, clubs response is u are not our 7 going forward. So his manager orchestrated this whole mess. The timing makes it almost guaranteed.
