Were missing utilities. Unsure if Jack Bird was this player for us, but clearly he wasn't performing. Toa on 450... Glad he is going to Manly. Yes, I agree that's not the kind of signing Kieran Foran should be starting his career with. Particularly the big shoes he has to fill in Reuben...

You sound sad at that? Meh, kick it out of the game. If you have to insult someone use your fists not your lips.

Yea, Man I watched some of the older games (80's)... the fullbacks were hopeless. I mean were talking run 20 meters to pick up the ball and almost drop it. It felt like reserve grade. Times have changed.

Honestly, I would rather a nice pub and a few mates you can banter with... Stadiums are just so damn secure these days, plastic cups, plastic food. Give me a giant Pub TV with a line through it because someone went to smash it. Give me a stupid keno screen that no one ever touches and...

Curtis Rona is still coming isn't he? Man that was one bus trip that guy regretted.

100% If were going to have a whinge, why don't we talk about us not showing up at our own home ground against the Dolphins. Ok in fairness we played kinda average-ish and maybe that's the problem. We did not fold, but this was a winable game and we lost.

There are very few players that are just genuine dangers. Koroibete, Nofo (he couldn't tackle, but he could cross the line), Tukali... outside the tigers: Jarryd Hayne Mitchell Latrell... Even Johnson and Jenkins are underrated. Makasini is the closest I have seen to being an attacking...

This seems very ChatGPT... but meh. Yes, we haven't had as much Crash running as we want too. But Luai hasn't been the focus of the "eyes up" system. That was AD + Madden + Api Now we need another boom 2RF. Between KPP and Samuela we have that kinda sorted in the first grade. Yes one of...

Why do people keep saying "add depth". Our problem is always the quality of 1-17. not 18-30. We need to trade depth for quality and that's what I think Benji has been doing with punting Jack Bird (400k) for Pat Herbert (150k/min). We have to keep doing this till we get a first grade 1-17...

Strange as reading this I was thinking Gareth Ellis would have gone gangbusters in Origin! Man I wish we could have landed James Graham, those two playing together would have been an extreme front row. ... That said, dead set right. People say Wayne Bennett did not succeed at Newcastle. They...

What the Australian squad going against America! A nation of 400 Million people who usually dominate most olympic sports. The only reason why they did not do well at Soccer is they did not care about soccer. Now they are starting to care... Against: 27 Million Australians, A nation that can...

Agreed, imagine having to tell a mate who is probably trying their hardest they are out of a job! Yet Foran I think gave Garrick his marching orders. Surely they played together. Feledy could be a sympathy keeper though.

Based on that it ruined Flanagan and Brad Arthur Struggled with it. Ivan Cleary couldn't coach us against Nathan and said it tore him apart. Back to Benji, he is still a rookie coach. Maybe he can handle relatives, likely he can't and it will make his job harder. Hire people that make...

Agreed and there is the other issue. Flanagan was torn apart with talk of Favouritism. Brad Arthur soon moved Jesse away. I don't think Benji has the coaching ability anywhere near the level of Ivan Cleary to manage relatives successfully.

Yea, it's tough out there. Two major unfair things in Australia: 1. Home ownership. If your a pensioner and you own your own home, you can survive. If you rent, your stuffed. It used to be a choice and it should be a choice, but now it's just a hardplace with a mortgage or a harder place...

Meh, Api deserves every penny. You call anyone to Origin you are training with the squad and you are psyched for the matchup.

Wayne Bennett + they have Alex Johnson/Walker/etc leaving. I know it's going to be 1m+ for Payne Hass and even then it's still a bargain. Wayne is clearing the Rabbit's and he is selecting people. I don't think he will make bad choices. I just hope he stays away from us.

Re DCE and Ben Hunt... DCE IMHO is a legend and a halfback that is better then Nathan Cleary IMHO. Queensland has the whole Thurston + Storm players to pick from. I won't deride Hunt, he was at Brisbane twice when it made the Grand finals and has been a part of successful Origin campaigns...

Damn sorry to hear. Thoughts are with you Odessa

Honestly I have. He has the physicality which a lot of players, i.e. Tannious/Murray,etc don't. The problem has been the errors. He has an odd running style, which I actually think isn't a bad thing but Twal may disagree with me. The errors cost us tries and the inconsistency sucks. That...
