I heard the magic words again tonight LT, “we trained really well but just can’t transfer that to the field”. Then why do we look like we hardly know by each other ? Roosters next week, it’s gonna be ugly !

Mate I’d have anyone at centre ahead of Herbert.

Look at what Holbrook has done at the Knights, bottom team now in the finals. He applied to us but didn’t get a look in !

It’s World Rum day, I’d be heading in that direction ! 😡

Who cares !

I’m actually still trying to work out how we won in 2005, some sort of aberration ?

And of course, Ivan didn’t fight for him to stay ! That said something in itself, he weeded out several who wanted more money than they were worth eg Crichton, Burton, Luai, Korosau etc.

Onya Scoop ! Suggestions ?

That’s correct in principle PandC but nothing about us in the last 10 weeks has shown us as professional. That applies to coaches and players.

Another game, another disappointment. Douehi looks like he’s got other things on his mind, Luai at least having a dip today, but overall it’s just more lethargy and sub standard defence. I’m putting it on the coaches, they’ve obviously lost the dressing room and are incapable of creating a...

And we did . Well played Banga boys, and hang your heads Australia. Outplayed from the 1st session !

I did a stint as a casual barman here back in the early 70s. My first bar job !

What a line up !

Ok Shawn, thanks for coming on board with the fans, assume there will be a full review at seasons end, especially on the coaching team. Without divulging too much, and assuming they have KPIs, how are they tracking ( general question). My rationale is that nothing seems to change in game plans...

Only for celebrating SQ, I think today’s our day !!!

While we’re talking about the spoon and lower level teams, I just don’t understand what’s gone wrong at the Broncos ? Is it the Madge curse striking again ? It just seems crazy that à team can go from Premiers to Paupers in à year. Any explanations or opinions welcomed coz I’m scratching my...

What I meant was early season “ at home”, which is how I view the start of the cricket season, but that’s just an old fellas view!

Good luck Pirates, end of season beers will taste so much better if you finish with a win !!

Or perhaps he was all over the Roosters to win, cynical I know but this is the ongoing problem when you have a bad gambler in à position to affect the outcome of a professional sport. It’s sort of like insider trading !

I don’t want him to leave EF but I want us to make a realistic offer, not a “sign at any cost” one. Remember he’s got a couple of brothers as well who have to be taken into consideration.
