It's time to take the fight back to HBG

You cant blame SM for that. The bloke knows these guys have egos and hes playing to that. It will allow him to get more done. The funding isn't mutually exclusive. HBG have more than enough to go around. SMs behaviour is just a result of playing to their behaviours. The rot is at the top.

Lessor of two evils. If hes a practising lawyer, he can't be too dodgy. May need a bit of a hard nose to take this on. A guy who understands how to play in the grey areas like they do.

From what it sounds like, its actually his wife. Interesting how she is in the picture here. Is she a debenture holder too maybe? I'd say they paid wayde a sum. Another example of how they're burning through members funds with no accountability

It's time to take the fight back to HBG

I applaud anyone trying to take this head on and save the club from these guys. If they had stuck with the review, they could have been heros. But they let their egos rule their decision again. What they did last year was the last straw. And so good to see some of the debenture holders...

Nick Di Girolamo is representing. He may have the clubs best interests here and is waiving the fees.

Even for $200k, I just can't see a spot in the squad.

Yeah, I don't get that one. I mean, Harry is incredible. But Phoenix is a good player and on his way up.

I can't see him playing there. We are weak in the outside backs, with more depth in the halves. We're a better team with him at centre

2027 half back and five eigth

He was our best attacker last year. I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater. If there is someone better, sure, they go in there. But at the moment, I think we might have potential, but not solid options.

I hear you mate. You're not wrong. I want to think that AD has put himself in a position now that he can't turn his nose up at playing a position. While I agree experience is not everything, we can't have two juniors playing in the halves. I think either AD or Madden has to be there. AD needs...

2027 half back and five eigth

After hearing Terrell on his podcast admit to locking himself away for a couple of weeks and how he let Benji down, it may have fed into AD's frustration with the club not upholding standards. While there is no place for it, there has to be something more to AD's walkout. Lets hope the lads...

Their club is a shitshow? At least they're not being held hostage by 20 mid manager hacks with a $100 piece of paper.

Yep. I think that is very telling. We have an extremely young squad. I'd prefer to throw a frizzel or a mann into the 19 rather than a junior who isn't ready. We need that experience and profesionalism. We do not have it. Depth with quality guys at the end of their career vs depth in unproven...

You dont necessarily need people who live and breathe league. They should part of the formula. We actually just need top level decision makers and networkers, not middle managers or small biz c-level. Penrith have brandy, roosters have ricketson. RL experience is typically limited to 1 ex...

John Morris Departs as Assistant Coach

Would love Brad Arthur, but doubt he'd come back from the UK for an assistant role.
