Seyfarth again...

We just watch the football on the deck half the time.

Get geyer off

HBG fault for making the club a rabble again. They have no choice but to be loyal to benji, not the club.

I remember johns talking about toa during one of his good runs about how in Newcastle he was always hot and cold. They couldn't get the consistency out of him. Unfortunately it's been the same here.

We need a decent cup team. I'd say thats where his next contract will be.

Sione or Seyfarth will switch into the rotation with murray / geyer.

I think we still need another decent back, signed short-term, for depth. I'm not sure Skelton will be re-signed. Reading the tea leaves, he must be missing the fitness standards. I can't see Benji sacrificing those.

Has definitely leaped over Hope as #2 Hooker

Its not about funding to me. I'd still have an independent talented board on the smell of an oily rag than what we have now. I really believe our laziness in games like last week has to do with the average characters at the top. Why would the players bust a gut when our board members dont even...

I think you completely missed the phrases "if he's able to recapture his form" and "backup to api". He'd be on a train and trial. So no, not straight into the team. He'd be the cheap option, but if not, we need to look at other ones out there. Hope is not working.

Latu is probably our 2nd-best #9. If you put him in the halves, then you have Hope starting and Madden in the NSW Cup or on the extended bench. It's not our best side. If we sign Manese next year and he's able to recapture his form, then we may have a better backup and allow Benji the luxury of...

Wouldn't be surprised if the algorithm assumed HBG was a health fund - they have also shafted their members for a decade.

Sorry to hear @ancient_magpie. Can't imagine how hard that would be. Please do keep your chin up and look after yourself.

In fairness to Woodsy, the club was a basketcase. The board and Jason Taylor created so many issues. But it's nice to hear him admit that the grass wasn't greener. Maybe supporters will start to lay off him a bit now - including myself.

Its ridiculous. Shaun is still interim CEO too. Its bloody june!

That better not be accurate. Way too much money and far too long for the calibre of signing. Let's hope this isn't the type of deals that have been happening with HBG since luai. Will drag us back into the hole we were in

This. Weren't the reports that he was a bad trainer and would turn up late? No way he fits into this culture.

The other advantage to Averillo is that he can slot in at FB - we need better coverage for Bula if he's down.

The leaks seem to have started to happen again since the old board took their seats back.
