without a shadow of a doubt. even QLD would’ve found a spot for him at 14 or in the centres. NSW had some diabolical halves there during Benji’s prime too. he would’ve been a mainstay of that side.

Sam Hughes anyone? apparently free to leave the Dogs if he gets a good deal.

don’t think we’ll look into it. pretty flush for halves with Luai, Latu, Doueihi, Madden and Javon Andrews all contracted full time. very interested to see which NRL club bites though. Parramatta wouldn’t surprise me.

funnily enough Michael Chammas thinks it's the other way round. club option worth $800k, Jahream's is worth $900k. I'd back him over most journos tbh. knows his shit. regardless not worth losing him over a $100k valuation gap in my view. by 2027 I think he'll absolutely be worth $800-900k...

Chammas doesn't get his info from Isaac. he has plenty of mutual friends but not from Isaac directly. he also has a lot of close connections to WT from his time being close to Pascoe during the Madge era. those lines of contact don't just disappear.

club cautious on activating their option at $800k is all. lots to play out. further, you're going to hear this shit all summer. not ideal but until there's decisions made by Luai and Bula / WT it won't leave the news cycle.

and then when he moves to 13 he’s undersized and unprepared? I don’t think that’s wise.

no one will say it because they’re too scarred by what transpired later in the game, but the best we looked all year was the first half against the Titans on the Gold Coast. I don’t need to tell you who the 7 was that night and how we fell off a cliff when he came off injured. we can’t put...

agree with you there. all three need to lift again, especially Pole. Twal probably needs to as well although he improved a fair way last year. the cliche biggest preseason ever is required once again for a quantum leap into the 8.

I’m finding myself debating this with myself pretty constantly. I’m now of the belief that if we’re going to transition Doueihi to 13 we can’t do things by halves. he needs to pack on some muscle and get used to playing 60+ minutes in the washing machine. plenty of hours on the wrestling mat...

happy to see the swap eventuate but unsure if Brown even makes the bench. definitely helps us with depth thru the middle but really curious to see what role he plays. is it 6-8 games of grade, is it more than that? time will tell I spose.

he's 21 and the best uncapped young prop on the market. tackle efficiency stats always translate into NRL, and given his average carry is above 10m that's extremely promising when compared to the other good young front rowers getting about (Pasifiki Tonga, Xavier Vaa, Hopwood) $350k a year to...

NAS and Kamikamica are washed. find the next up and coming throbber and offer him a stack like we did with Stefano. Vaa Semu's probably that guy. there's a million props at Brisbane he's stuck behind. offer him the house.
