    Not to say we don’t need backs. But I think we might be underestimating how much we will miss Matterson’s work rate. We aren’t spoiled for metre-eaters and tackling machines (apart from Twal). And without a solid hooker, our middle defence looks weak. Obviously we need a fullback first but...

    First time poster, long time lurker Why haven’t we gone for someone like Nat Butcher? Great work rate and could fill our 13 jersey nicely. Yet to re-sign and could come at a decent price (similar to Matterson). I think he ticks all the boxes?
