If we want good players to sign we need to show stability. Players need accountability for performance and they need to know that we are backing our coach. Don’t put in, then get on your bike. Current squad believes they have a scapegoat with any coach. That needs to stop now
If we have to keep brooks, I think he needs a full pre season at hooker. Doubt it would work but could be worth a try. Depending on the direction ,Might look at swapping Liddell or brooks for Thompson at the dogs.

I think the only way forward is to keep madge. Make a point of backing the coach over the playing group who think they are bigger than the club. Get rid of brooks, we need a chirpy aggressive half. Sign Thompson or another enforcer prop and rip in.
I still like Simpkin more than Liddell. Brooks needs to be moved on. Tommy is hot and cold but willing to give another shot. Maybe a ball playing lock (Hastings) will unlock our attack and tighten up the middle?
